I am a diocesan consecrated virgin, in the USA, for 30years. Consecrated virgins, unlike religious sisters, do not take vows. Rather, at your consecration, you are mystically espoused to Christ thru the prayer of the bishop.
Hi, thank you for your message. Being sure about your vocation isn’t totally dependent on being a postulant. I was very called to monastic life, so I think you have to go first where you’re most drawn and the Lord will show the way. 🙏
