Amazing Dueling Water Coaster! The Edge at Soaky Mountain

- This is The Edge water coaster slide at Soaky Mountain Water Park in Sevierville, Tennessee, United States. Both lanes of this Blasterango Battle water slides are dispatched at the exact same time, allowing guests to race against eachother. After plunging down a steep drop, they are propelled upwards into a dark enclosed tube fitted with colorful daylight rings. Thereafter, they plunge down another drop followed by an uphill ascent leading into the second enclosed section. Then, riders drop into the Boomerango where they swing up a wall before eventually ending their ride. Despite only double tubes being allowed on this ride, single riders may ride when sitting in the rear of the tube.

Just went there today. Road this three times. Crowded but line moves fast. Great slide!
From my experience it without a doubt seems to be the fastest moving line in the park, which is great for how popular it is
I went on this ride yesterday didn’t scream but the drops were so fun! It felt like you were gonna fall out!!

Die Rutsche (wie auch der gesamte Wasserpark) sieht echt richtig stark aus. Bei einem zukünftigen Trip durch den Mittleren Westen und wird hierfür definitiv ein Tag eingeplant.
Besser zwei Tage einplanen :)
@@tuberides.official Wird der Park so voll, dass man 2 Tage für braucht? Hatte bisher glaube ich noch nie einen Wasserpark, wo ein ganzer Tag nicht gereicht hat.
@@SplashOne Bei unserem letzten Besuch war es auf jeden Fall so voll, dass ein Tag nicht gereicht hätte, um alles zu rutschen. Aber da waren auch über 6.000 Besucher im Park. Wenn man sich beeilt, schafft man es im Regelfall vermutlich auch an einem Tag. Entspannter sind aber zwei Tage.

Were those sound effects at the boomerang part of the ride? I mean surely they had to be.
There are sound effects during the enclosed part and also at the boomerang :) And there will be an announcement at the exit about which rider has won the race.
Geiles Teil.....derartige Dinger gibt's in Mitteleuropa leider einfach viel zu selten, wobei wir uns eigentlich nicht beschweren können.
Übrigens erstaunlich gute Daylight-Effekte beim zweiten Röhrenpart.
Soweit ich weiß, ist es sogar die weltweit einzige Kombi aus Master Blaster und Boomerango als Dueling-Anlage
@@tuberides.official Ah, ich war etwas verwirrt. Dachte ich hätte schon mal einen gesehen, aber das war dann wohl euer Compilation Video zu Soaky Mountain, was ja mittlerweile schon lange her ist.
we went last year to ride this and it was hit by lightening but got to ride it our last day as they repaired it.
I would be afraid of dislocating my joints!
