I SO rely on sew-with-me's. Not only do I gain by learning sewing technique, but I gain massive amount of 'confidence-to-do'! It's actually watching a sew-with-me that gives me the confidence to attempt to sew the pattern - probably as much as 75% of the time! I seriously cannot stress enough how useful sew-with-me's are to my sewing journey and my everyday investment in sewing. I suffer from anxiety, and fear-of-failure is a large part of my anxiety, and without sew-with-me's I'm not sure that I would actually find enough confidence to go ahead and sew up more complicated, intermediate, sewing patterns at all! I have a pretty extensive handmade wardrobe now, and a lot of this is down to the availability of sew-with-me's available online that boost me to go ahead and try to make! Please know, Kate, that your effort has silent reward in places you don't even know about (like me in Scotland 🤣) Enjoyed this sew-with-me video, and I definitely already look forward to your next 😆😊

Holy cow, this is wonderful. Glad I found this before I started. Visual learning is the best for me especially because I'm so busy and sewing is my relaxation. When I get frustrated sewing I back. You're the best! This makes it SEW much easier 💝
As well as giving great instructions on how to sew this particular garment, your general tips for sewing stretch fabrics with an overlocker and when to use the sewing machine and iron are absolutely brilliant. And your advice on how to pin and how and when to baste is much appreciated. I've just learnt so much, thank you for posting this great video.
Just got the pattern. It’s summer here in sunny Florida, but I love your patterns and want them all. These sew alongs are perfect for me as I’m a visual learner and it gives me the confidence I need as a beginner.
