OG MicroKORG was my first synth like 15yrs ago when I was in high school. Good times, this is such a great update. I'm glad my kid will have a way easier interface to play with when he gets into this stuff (hopefully.)
They should have made the knobs continous controllers so the settings never jump when you tweak a knob! You can see the position on screen so it6 would make sense that they were continous
Microkorg II… Modern Classic…. Hmmmm…. Yeah Nah! How about a MicroKorg Deluxe with full sized keys instead of the spongy micro keys and knobs like the MS2000 which this synthesisers heritage.
It sounds too muddy for me. Not crazy about the pads, but it has some nice sfx and bass possibilities, surprisingly good for bass… Got one few days ago, but I’ll probably return
A (fairly) high resolution color display on a small synth, only 50 years after the invention of the color LCD? What's going on here? *SHOCK* 🤯 I thought there was an unwritten law that you have to use cheap, low-res, low-contrast, narrow viewing angle, black&wite displays on music gear...
The legendary duo together again
Luke is back - way to go!!!
That's a fantastic demo 👏🏻
Amazing upgrade too...I want one!!
That screen! 😳😳😳 Roland, are you watching?🤯
This looper should be a standard on any future synth! 🙌
Great to see Luke again!!!
so cute this synth
Seems like a worthy follow up! I am actually impressed :) All the best, Tobi

One of the best toys for any age.

That's the biggest flaw of this new MicroKorg.
Microkorg was my first hardware synth 20 years ago. I didn’t like it back then, but in hindsight I made some great tracks with it.
This and the multipoly are exciting products
im coming to see the guildford flames in december, will pass by the shop for a demo
It's the Luke from Korg! :)
It’s Luke from Korg!!!!
Unlocking trophies is totally silly and absolutely brilliant at the same time.
Cooles Gerät! 🔥👍
i still have my microkorg xl, shame they didnt make this modern version with a sampler
Maybe they will take on that good idea :)
@@MrQmason hope so the sample workstation synth keyboard im sure is still something that would interest people standalone of course
Micro korg
Micro Korg xl
Micro korg II
I might get 1
Damn for 500 quid I might ask Santa for one of these. Looks fun
Wow wow wow bitimbral huuuge
😍😍😍
More fitting name, imho:
KORG microGroove
..as it's soo different from a OG uKORG :)
Does it exist as a vst?
Give it 1 year and no doubt it will for 200 quid.
@@maydaygoingdown5602 VSTs are a scam especially subscription based payment cloud serviced VSTs
Nice little Board. But for $650 your better off getting a Deepmind 6 for the same price. In my opinion of course..

Get a Hydrasynth Explorer

This makes me want to buy a MK V1 again... But the price for the V2? No thanks....
800 dollar is not acceptable but these products are no longer in reach for the (former) middle class...
Very sad
An original microKORG thankfully still goes a looong way ;)
The OG is best though
Little to much marketing speak and not enough honest opinion in this one. :(
It’s a shop, marketing is what they do. Plus Luke is head honcho at Korg these days.
oh that’s nice about Luke - well done lad!

How else will they justify 800 dollar price tag... ridiculous imo
@@Parialated To be fair, the DSP that runs the sound engine may cost them up to 15 bucks. Oh, wait...
@@Parialated The price is worth it. It's in a similar league to the minifreak
@@Parialated it's 550 on amazon, which is a steal
