Superb works of art! What I wonder is why SIKU no longer produces these models! I'm sure it would make a lot of people happy! Can someone tell us where these models can be found? Thank you very much! Once again, superb works of art!
Yeah the old man and scania are about the same price for a tamiya kit.. They were my gateway for 1:14's. Only thing is, you need space to drive a 1:14 semi and trailer.. Have you made any roads or docks for your 1:14's?
Do I like this scale? I love it! The Volvo is so cool, I have after wondered about dabbling into the 1/32 rc. Is there a link on more of these model or just surf the web worm hole 😎👍🏼#5
Hey man, thanks for stopping by! 1/32's are what got my into 1/14 tamiyas.. Lol other way round.. Yeah its crazy what some people do with these rigs! There are a few german TH-cam's that show them off.. Not found many build videos tho.. You could visit siku.de and go to the "control" section. But i find surfing ebay lands better deals.. Let me know if u do choose to dabble.. Id love to see what you could do with one of these rigs!
The removal of 5th wheel control over the transmitter and wifi control for tje trailer is a killer for me. No more siku control. I prefer the old ones. More quality, more functions. Siku control used to be a hobby grade product but this volvo is just a toy for kids. Hope they realize the mistake or this line of product might disapear.
Oh no! Thats the wrong direction!! I thought there was a big following of these trucks in Germany? Like they have a client base.. Funny to me why now they want children to drive this rigs.. Childeren cant afford them!
@@hobbyzonemodelismo the prices for the MAN and Scania are budget blasting right now! Siku stopped producing the vehicles some time ago and there's zero chance for reproduction. Current price in Germany is around 300€+, on eBay for a new one, 250€ used. And even they're much better than the Volvo, they aren't worth it to pay 300€..... It's a shame, that hughe adult (modding) Community and they provide such a peace of shit for us....
@@commanderb-tron931 300 euros for a hobby grade diecast metal fully functional truck plus a trailer, with a hobby grade radio is worthy, at 1/14 scale they cost 2k-4k euros in Germany (would prefer metal gears though). But 150 euros for this volvo I would not pay, looks like the chinese Rastar toys. Anyway, siku is aiming the young I think. Maybe they are right, maybe not, time will tell.
Compared to the other Trucks (Scania, MAN) this Modell is cheap and the electronics are very poorly realized. The driving is horrible with the controler and the app steering and acceleration is just impossible to handle. If you want scale driving, a hole electrical modification is necessary to drive on Diorama, wouldn't recommend it, except for modeling experienced people. Sorry, but that is a poor poor development from Siku. And they know most of the customers are adults who don't want the trucks for a toy.
I have to agree!! I mean the other trucks drive great and at scale! And bluetooth is just a gimmick trying to bring in the younger people.. When most of their customers are over 30.. Thanks for your comment.. Do you drive theses trucks too?

@@mpkhobbyRC I think they will downgrade the Man and Scania to the smae level of this Volvo.
