Dude. I love your concepts. It's changed the way I'm going to approach my renos/rehabs moving forward. I was thinking about doing the other burrow and I love the idea of it being a walled and underground fortress. The other one has those sand yaks in it. I may keep them.
Im thrilled that this has made you so enthusiastic about rebuilding, i think your gonna have alot of builds and rebuilds on your list.
this is insaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane
Thank you and thank you for watching.
There is another burrow which is pretty much the same, but having more damage. Though I am not fond of living in the desert, I really like the burrows and did renovate the same one. Thank you for sharing your renovations with us!
Thanks for watching, and I really appreciate the feed back. Kindle wastes is a great biome, but i often have outposts there not bases. The burrows seemed like a great base location and I couldn't miss the opportunity so I had to renovate it.
Interesting video, but put a noise gate over that mic, and perhaps the game music 😁
Thank you for watching and for the advice, appreciated. :)
Thanks for the video. The swimming pool zone adorable 🤩 I did find this place and thought it would be great for renovation and main base. But wasnt sure if one altar would be enough. What your altar size on here? I have base with 80x80 and dont know how big it can be upgraded. With new update and walking npc, animals.. big flat grounds! Thats what i was looking for! Yeaaah😅
Many thanks for watching and commenting. I found this to be a very interesting place to build and im not normally a big fan of the kindle wastes, but it just called to be renovated. One altar is enough but i think it needed to be lvl 4 (160 x 160), hope that helped, enjoy!
@ 🙏thank for reply. Will put altar there today. Me also dont like that dusty biome, but in my plans to make a green oasis down there ☺️
Very nicely done! Thank you for sharing your creativity. I found this video by searching for "Rose Shell Burrow" after finding it in-game for the first time and deciding to make it my first real base overhaul attempt!
Question: I noted that you were able to replace the roof "pergola" section that has fallen down onto the plant beds below with some sort of horizontal lattice, but I'm still pretty new and do not know how to make such a lattice floor/ceiling tile. The piece I am talking about is clearly visible in the picture at timestamp 12:06. Can you share how you did it, please? I know your "fix" did not match the original, but it's better than a gaping hole :) It looks like you used the same thing to add a bit more semi-shade around the top edges of the center section.
Thanks!
Hi there and thanks for watching, appreciated! Good luck with your renovation, have fun and the piece your talking about is made at Oswald the blacksmith and its called the Iron Grate. It can be fiddly to place but I found it very effective for the missing roof piece. You are indeed right, I felt that the grates added a small amount of shade to what would be a very hot climate. Have fun!
@@TaliffsTrials Excellent, thanks!! I was looking for that piece in the various building block pieces, never thought of the blacksmith making it ROFL

Not sure what ergw means, but thanks for the comment.
