Here, the MBBS course is for 1.5 years (Pre-Medicine) + 4 years where we finish all the subjects in 3 years and the 4th year is all for clerkship /internship and then, we are awarded the graduation degree. So is this THE INTERNSHIP that AMC wants to get a job?

Hi Dr, Regarding your licence, the question will be how you practiced in Pakistan without one and would it be valid and also for you to provide Certificate of Good standing at the time of registration here from one MC to another. You would have to do part 2 exam if the internship is not valid to get a job and also provide a Cover letter to explain as to why you dont have a licence. I hope this helps to understand the pathway. Kind regards, KP Balan

your are actually also FMG(Foreign Medical Graduate) to Australians. Since you have done your degree from India, so you are not FMG to India, but from the reference/viewpoint of Australia, You are also a Foreign Medical Graduate. But here in Australia as well, you guys have come up with new terms to distinguish between MBBS Abroad and MBBS in India and such things only apply to India but not here in Australia or for that matter any developed country. I got surprised to know you invented difference between Foreign Medical Graduate and International Medical Graduate. ECFMG means Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. So, According to USA as well, Anyone who did his/her Primary Medical Qualification from any country other than USA is considered as FMG. And, the same concept applies to Australia, New Zealand and UK as well, or for that matter any country. You are also FMG according to Russia, but those indians who did medicine in Russia are not considered FMG. If India is the best country and Indian doctors are the best, then why you Indian doctors leave India . Insane level of hypocrisy
Good Morning Doctor, I am sorry you feel that way and strong feelings to the term FMG. This is not a term i created. Regarding me being an IMG or an FMG is irrelevant. This is a video created after gathering information about the pathway to work here in AUS and the main point of the video is to create awareness of the difference about the 2 terms for the Australian pathway and no other country. This video is also in the view point of Indians wanting to migrate to AUS. I am sorry you feel that way about being a doctor trained outside Australia. Regarding the US definition... which I have not made any reference to. Regarding the hipocrisy, I did not state any countries doctors are the best and did not say any country is best as well. So please be careful of what you are claiming one is saying. Everybody can be a keyboard warrior, just make sure you get your facts right before. Also please be aware, any form of rudness is not tolerated and will be reported. Have a good day

@@bishalbaruah1478 sure what's is your query??
@@kaifmallick9788 I'm planning for Mbbs in Russia. Would you recommend? Arethere any disadvantage? Since many people told me fmg exam is very tough to clear do if you wanna stay abroad then go otherwise don't. Is it really tough? What if I don't able to crack ? What about Next exam? How's the quality of edu in Russia? Fmg needs more time comparatively IMG to get mbbs degree, I'll have to lose additional time of my age:( & acc to NMC, I'll have to get the license to practice in Russia, right? So what's the language of the license exam?
Thank you for the info.. much needed.. Ma’am is there a way to contact you
Hi Dr
Thank you so much!!
You can get in touch through IG.
You are literally the most helpful person talking about this topic! thank you for this. next thing is I do have a question which is lets assume I have passed amc 1/amc1 and 2 and completed my internship in my home country (Egypt), what to do first ? look for a job and when I got accepted I took the letter or the offer then apply to AHPERA ?
Thank you so much! That is very sweet of you. Yes. Once you have completed the exams, you secure a hospital job and then they apply on your behalf. The only thing you will need to do is complete the forms for the hospital to submit to AHPRA and also arrange for letter of Good standing from your Medical Council to AHPRA.
Hope this helps.
How can I contact you doc !
Is there an age limit? My husband is 47 years old a specialist here in PH 😊
Hi Doc,
There is no official age limit on the specialist. It all depends on the qualifications, experience, visa status and if the hospital is happy to employ you. :)
Kind regards,
KP Balan
Can i do PGY1 without doing my internship in india ?? Or is it mandatory to do internship??
Hi Doctor, you can but it is hard ( not impossible)to get a job without clinical experience. Also if you are studying in India- without completing your internship - you wont get your final degree to sit for the exam.
@@imgguideinaus I'm fmg doc , currently doing clerkship in Philippines, so I thought if I can skip Fmge and attempt AMC
Excellent.
Thank you so much Doctor ☺️

your are actually also FMG(Foreign Medical Graduate) to Australians.
