I just couldn't pay money for something that possibly hasn't been heat treated properly and has a false edge on it. But I guess all blacksmiths have to start somewhere. And I can only imagine how hard it would be just teaching yourself all that you need to know to be a Smithy. I think he'll be a great weaponsmith after a few years making things are under his belt.
