- Went out to the NEC on a Thursday and visited North Elizabeth for the first time tanks to FreedomTowerman for inviting me to this trip. Tons of action were out there including Amtrak's Keystone, Northeast Regionals, Crescents, Silver Meteor, Pennsylvanian, Acela Express, & Ballast train and the powers are ACS-64, Acela, Metrolink Cab Cars, & GP15D. New Jersey Transits including MU Arrows, ALP46, ALP45DP, Multilevel Cab Cars, Comet Cab Cars, & a equipment move. New Jersey Transit trains to Trenton, Long Branch, Bay Head, Jersey Avenue, and New York Penn.

Such a great place to watch! Relatively few trains stop at North Elizabeth, so you get them all in fast action.
Let me recommend the purchase of a tripod. After awhile, the unsteady camera work is tiring. But your love of railfanning is obvious, so just make that one equipment upgrade and you'll be a complete winner !!!
Paul Somers I already have a tripod and I use it on some stations
12:41 you got scared of the Horn
You mean 12:50?
1:48 I’ve never seen a train like that before.
TrainRider Railfan it’s is the NJ transit

Arrow iii: Get back
Nj transit: GET BACK HERE BITCH
i saw that NJT equipment move
NJT Amtrak Railfan Cool. Where did you saw it?
NJT Amtrak Railfan You're not answering my question. I said where
avasic1995 sry my device died but i saw it at secaucus (if thats how you spell it)
one thing I can 't understand is why you have traction locomotives located at the back? and in front of the driver sits in some strange "miracle car". certainly not in Russian
They're called "Cab Cars" not "Miracle Cars". They do that because whenever a commuter train is at the end of it's route, the engineer gets in the cab car and controls it from there instead of having to flip the entire train or switch the locomotive to the back.
@@MidwesternRailfan I see. but it still looks strange, at least for Russia
I swear at one point I think I saw a spark on the electrical overhead wires
As far as I see, the locomotive of the first train has two cabins.
Why don't they re-couple it on a terminal station?
Hello, I love your videos. Is there a particular name for the passenger cars that are mostly white color, with black horizontal line through the windows, such as at 4:57 ?? I see that a few of them have a door in the center as well. There doesn't seem to be any engines that match those cars. Thanks!
Thanks and that's how they're made
Those are Comets. Search it on Wikipedia for more info.
I'm pretty sure Amtrak has some of those kinds of train cars running on inner-city trains like the Downeaster and River Runner.
Why is an amtrak pulling freight cars?
Work train
1:45 What is that?!
Elijah Grant an equipment move
What do the lights on the sides of the trains mean (orange / green)?
thx!
