I love the ones that dont turn out like they were planned. It reminds me that we all have flaws but we are imperfectly perfect! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
TIP: When fixing holes in colored resin, just use clear! Especially if the hole is small, the clear resin will blend in and pick up the color from the resin surrounding it.
I actually really love how this turned out! The subtle striations/petals make it look almost like a natural flower. I also love the frangipani flower! Here in the US we call them by their other name, plumeria. So beautiful! I love watching your videos. I've been watching for a long time now, and I have loved watching you learn and grow! I love that you include the so-called "mistakes" along with the successes! As Bob Ross often said, "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents." Can't wait to see what you do next! ☺
The flowers and the colors are beautiful. I also like the way the pink on the outside circle looks like fabric wrapped around a ring.
I love the colors of this one. I learn something from you every time I watch. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity with us. 🥰
Don't panic. You're showcasing the mold edge. I've always called them plumeria. It's only recently I've heard them called frangipani. I'm getting this one next. 😊
I absolutely love how the color came out. I can't even see the repair. And I love plumerias. Reminds me of home. ❤😊
Absolutely love that frangipani mold. Loving the whole thing with the colours and effects. You say it didn't turn out as planned but Julie its such a pretty coaster. I really love the less striations. Well done
Beautiful, we all learn so much from each video for example in this one it's clear that for the centers of the frangipani if you want them to be obvious need to use a color considerably lighter or darker. I did totally love the bloom with this resin. To sad the glitter fell through that one place. Because not only was it visible but it also displaced the bloom in the way down. Thankfully after your repairs it was close to if not invisible. I'm waiting to get my beginners kit from let's resin. I'm going to be making jewelry as that happens to be my fascination. That and I'm totally clueless as to how to decorate a home. Thanks again Julie
I love the colors they are beautiful. Have a great day 🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful❤. Just stunning. Love this mold most of all the flower molds.
Lovely Julie! These moulds are beautiful. 💕
A little bee sticker would have been cute over the dropped stones :) love the color!
So beautiful! Love the colors and petals on this. I actually like the center as well ❤
Very pretty colors and design ❤😊
😂😂😂I have never heard the saying pay peanuts, get monkeys! 😂😂😂
Loving the flower mold series❤❤
I really like this one. It's gorgeous ❤
The colour is really nice, kind of delicate red .
Absolutely beautiful ❤️
I think it's very beautiful❤
I think it's pretty. Reminds me of a Gerber Daisy
Love the petals , color, and the mould is exquisite.❤ Chiffon like.
It looks amazing ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏
That's pretty!
I really like this one. Just and idea, put a ladybug or bee where the stone was. ❤❤
Love the flowers round the edges, and love that colour combination, shame it didn't close up but nicely saved.
I find most glass stone colours run, even the expensive ones, especially reds and greens. I buy the cheapest ones, and only use them at the very last minute, mix it just before adding and the colour doesn't tend to run much at all.
This reminds me of a gerber daisy.❤️
Looks pretty good.
I think it came out great! Are you making more flower edge molds? I like the smaller coaster size, waiting to see you use the butterfly one & your rose one isn’t on your eBay anymore, that was my favorite! I’m planning on a set of four, but waiting to see what else is up your sleeve😜
Love it!!
You can use uv resin and dip some more gold in it and tack more around. Or apply an embellishment . Then add a thin layer of resin on top.
have you thought about putting smaller flowers/butterfly's around the center to cover the gap but not the glass bits!
Yes it isn’t what you wanted but it’s cool looking. Ok, maybe I wrong, but to me, each flower around the edge has formed a striation that resembles a petal. Bigger at the flower then smaller where it meets the big center. 🤷🏼
You my dear are a perfectionist. Although it looked fabulous, in your artist eye it needed to look perfect, and perfect you achieved ! WOW! It's so beautiful 😍! A person comes on here to learn something can be great but YOU the Artist have the ability to make it perfect. Chica you are an incredible inspiration to all of us 💖! You ROCK! ❤🎉😊
💖💖💖
Seems like if you are unsure of the quality of crushed glass...then your method of adding a small amount of resin will sort out if the color will run or not.
Even though I think it came out pretty good
I have a question please. Even when you do a one to one by volume you still don’t technically do a one to one, you offset it by 10 grams. Is there a reason for that? I understand that they weigh differently but I would have thought that those formulating would have accounted for that. What are the benefits of doing it that way? New to resin here and I just purchased Let’s Resin brand here in the US so I’d like to know all that I can to get the best outcome for my projects Planned or unplanned lol. Thanks for your time and the video Julie!
❤😊
And you talk about throwing the stones away because they bled but if you look at the middle they don't look bad. You'd save your sticks cuz you don't want to waste things but you throw a lot of stuff away like glass rocks. You're creative enough to find something to do with them. Again I don't think the bleeding did anything but add to the center
❤👍🏻👌🏻
Why put the stickers to cover the middle. It ruined it
I love the colors on that! Even if it didn't turn out the way you wanted. The color and that mold are fantastic
Thank you Julie for showing us how to correct a mishap! You saved it! Nice result on a really pretty piece. The mould is lovely. 👍☺️🫶🏻
Such a pretty mold, and that color is absolutely gorgeous! The gold on the flowers and that corally, pinky, orange in the bloom are perfect together.
Don’t throw them out! Sell them! I’d buy them. I can’t be the only one. 😊
No you're not I told you that a long time ago and when I thought it was absolutely beautiful but she didn't reply to me I was very disappointed because I thought it was absolutely stunning. Maybe she only replies to the people she knows from her group. Stunning pieces are not the ones that she planned out . Because she has said herself that resin has a mind of its own
@@donnahanna10565 that’s too bad
Excellent superb splendid creation
I love your new mold. The colors are so pretty. I'd probably just stick a little butterfly or bee on the stray glass 😅. 😍
This is my favorite one yet. It doesn't look like a daisy, but this is all your own, and i find this so lovely. Delicate colors and a nice design. Bravo!
Can she fix it???
Yes..she can!!!
Well done Julie ❤
I love this coaster..it's so pretty..the frangipani edge is adorable 🥰😊
I like this one more than the other one you showed us. It looks so soft and elegant. Thanks

Beautiful. Yes ma’am. I clean up as I go. You did a great job removing the glitter with the exacto knife. They are dangerous. Your mold is pretty.
Stop with the stickers they look tacky. You cover up some of your most beautiful work but those flowers and they look bad . I know that's why you never answer me because I mentioned it before but I think show me your work is absolutely beautiful and you cover it up. That's meant to be a compliment but I don't think you take it that way
While I’m new to resin, I always keep my resin tweezers near me when doing a pour. With me, generally what can go wrong, will go wrong so I always have tools around to fix my oopsies. 😅🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ Also, you could always put a flower sticker to cover the middle and a small butterfly/bee to cover the stray piece of glass?
I hear baby puppers! 💕😍
OOOH, the colors are *exquisite,* Julie! 😊💕 The frangipani mold is absolutely *gorgeous!* and so is that wonderful, striated bloom! I love ❤ how the red color "outlines" each beautiful flower. I LOVE the incredible glow of the colors in sunlight AND the slight transparency of the bloom in bright sunlight. love it, love it! I like an open center, tbh, but I know you don't. I also really like that glitter combo...it's so pretty! Great job "fixing it", Julie. 😊😍 It's *anything* but "ugly", girl! I would love to have this! 😊💕
I liked your phrase. I’ve always stuck with “you get what you pay for”. But, I am going to have to remember “if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys”.
Tapping the mold to get the bubbles out always makes me think of when I was around 9 or 10 learning to make brownies (from scratch, the box mixes weren’t very prevalent all those many, many years ago😉). Mom recommended with batter, always pick up and drop on the counter a few times to get the bubbles up. That was the fun part.
Hey Julie! It looks really pretty, love the color choice and the mold is amazing! Big ((Hugs)) from Texas🤗🌺
Beautiful mold! Love the flowers on the edge and the colors look so pretty! I think I liked the middle better without the flower. But I really liked the orangey colors!
I love the finished project. But, i also loved it before you put the sticker on, too. And, the "stray" stone also looked good to me. I would've been satisfied to leave it where it was. TYSM for sharing this video with us. Love your channel. 😍❣️😻
Very different, but I really like it especially with the mica powder flower edges it blends nicely. Almost like a sunburst. This time I even like the mostly see through center!❤
Very Pretty Julie
Thank you for showing how to fix a mistake. Love this mold ❤
I clean up as I go myself.
I think it's very unique and absolutely beautiful. The way the "petals" are defined, almost outlined, looks like a continuation of the flowers around the edge. It looks to me like you've laid each individual flower on its side around in wreath form. It's even more gorgeous when the light shines through the sides. I absolutely love it. I think it's the perfect pour(look) with that beautiful flower rimmed mold.
You mentioned that it wouldn't turn out shiny if you used a silicone mat. I never knew that would happen. (Do you know why that is so?) But, what plastic do you need to put the "extra" resin in/on without using a silicone mat ? Thank you for sharing this video with us. BTW, opaqueness is a word - sounds funny, but, it is a word. LOL ! 😂
Beautiful ❤. I liked it better before you put the sticker in the middle. Thank you for sharing the fix
That is nature, and nature is perfect. I think it is beautiful and you did a perfect job! It is absolutely unique and where in nature can you choose a specific design. You fixed the stone issue and showed us how. Keep doing a fantastic job! I am a perfectionist, too, but through the eyes of another, your idea of imperfect is absolutely perfect.
As a kid, I was always playing outside, barefoot. I was endlessly stepping on things, and getting things stuck in the soles of my feet, and my toes.
My father would always pull out his trusty pocket knife ti dig them out.
Awesome geode looking flower! I really like it. You worried about the amount of resin. I thought you could fill the mold with water when initially cleansing it and measure it. That way you could know how much resin to use. I have never done resin, so I don’t know if water will measure the same way.
Absolutely love the colors and the edges! Don't know how to spell the name of the flower and I'm too lazy to look it up, but they are really beautiful. xoxooxoxoxoox
That's absolutely beautiful ❤🎉
It's gorgeous, don't worry - and embrace the leaking colour from the cheaper stones, think of the colour as another aspect of the coaster, can hide if you centre ever doesn't fully close over in any style as you will have some leaked colour from stones there instead and the leached stones still look pretty without their full colour. Could end up being a fix rather than a problem 😊
I think it turned out beautiful. There is another resin artist that has come up with several flowers and she gives her recipes. She is Sunfire Designs. Check it out, I'd love to see you do some of hers. Her new one is atomic flower.
That looks amazing 🤩 love love love it 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻👍🏻🌺🐨🩷
No no not the stickers! I like the open space. Inside of the stickers try a back coat of a coordinated color instead. This pour is beautiful! Embrace that it didn’t close and make that depth part of the artist value.
I really liked this one. Not so much the flower stickers in the middle but the colors and fleathering are beautiful. When you have stones, glitter, whatever that you don't like instead of throwing them away think of donating them to a school or senior center. They can always be used somewhere.
This turned out stunning! I think it looked better without the sticker. I would have just did some color on the back so you didn't have the clear.
Eventhough it didn't go to plan it still turned out pretty. Other than flower stickers, have you ever used flowers in the center?
I really love this one the colors are beautiful the golden yellow flowers are awesome ❤
i actually like how this turned out - the clear center gives it depth to me and i like the broader "petals". I have to agree I am not a fan of those glass beads that bled. Could you use the glass beads in a similarly colored resin - vs clear, so that the bleeding doesn't show as much.
Julie, it looks like a flower! You could have put a bee over the misplaced stones!
Always something new to learn, thank you!
It's not just you. I clean up as i go as well. I do it when I'm cooking and everything. If i don't i get so over whelmed at the end
Love the colours, but I liked it without the sticker better than with it. Just my opinion ❤
I wonder what the centercwould look like if you back coated over the clear area with an appropriate pink/orange color rather than using a sticker.
It's still pretty but just not as good as the other one beause of the resin. It's still pretty though and good to know how to fix a tiny flaw!
Love the color with the gold edges! Glue a bee charm where the glass shard dropped.
The mould is beautiful.
Pretty 😍 really like the colours and love ❤ the mould.
I love the look you have achieved. It's beautiful x
It's beautiful!! 😍
Came out good it’s still pretty
I love those colors, and that mold. I also have a few flower costers. 🧡🧡🧡
Lovely julie 🌼🌼🌼
I like this one better than the one you showed us. I love the colors
😊
Love, love the colors and the mold!!
31:36 I liked it before you put the sticker on 😅
No flour is perfect. They are all flawed so love this one too.
It came out really pretty!!
It looks like a tutu 🩰🩰🩰
23:03 I love it so much! What will you do with this one? Do you sell any?!
