    We just got our Ford Edge Titanium, thank you so much for all the information, you do speak fast but I just had to re played the video.
    My husband was complaining about the screen how bright it was so I put a towel over the screen until I figured out how to dim it, thanks to you I did.

      Exciting about the new ride! Yes, I spoke really fast when I first started the channel haha. I've slowed down quite a bit. Here are some other videos on the Edge you can check out:

    Just got our Ford Edge Titanium yesterday. Definitely helped out a ton with seeing the features that weren't clearly explained by our salesperson. I appreciate the video and the time you took to thoroughly explain everything! Keep up the good work bud!

      Thanks, it’s always good to hear when people like the details! How are you enjoying the Edge so far? And curious, first time in a Ford?

    • @MTGeezus

      @@CarsWithSteve nope this is our second Ford our first was a2018 F150 STX - traded it in for a cheaper monthly payment also the savings in gas definitely makes my wallet happy. The edge is a fun drive, the B&O sound system is NICE. The safety features are definitely a step up from the f150 we had. Easy to get all my photography equipment in and out of the back, handles car seats really well and it’s so much easier getting out son in and out compared to the f150

    I appreciate the info you provide and the way you convey it! Too many auto'tubers talk down on certain cars and alienate entire segments because of their own biased opinions. One video ill mention from an unnamed "content creator" called this a "mommy suv" in their title and that level of ego doesnt belong in the car community imo.

      Always good to know when people actually appreciate the lack of fluff and how I just highlight what's up with the cars I review. Thanks!

      The tow package in the Edge Titanium/SEL/SE includes paddle shifters, class II receiver and sway control.. No changes to the alternator or battery in the Edge lineup

    It looks like all trim levels now come standard with navigation, is that correct? And if so, then what is the connected built in navigation? How does it differ from standard? I've looked everywhere online and can't find a clear answer. Love your videos on the edge, very helpful as im looking at buying one. Thank you!

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Connected Built-in Navigation is for traffic and hazard information, parking, gas prices and weather. You get 3 years of guaranteed Connected Service as a new Ford owner and need to purchase a plan if you want those features afterwards.
      From my understanding the connected element (live traffic and hazard info, weather etc) would not be available after the 3 years unless you purchase a subscription while just the GPS would work afterwards without a subscription.
      Glad you're enjoying the videos and hopefully this helped!

    Can you keep the "display-calm" as the default on your screen? mainly because the date and time are in larger fonts for glancing at the time of day while driving...

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't believe there's a way to permanently have it on - it needs to be user toggled every time the engine is turned back on

    Anyone know what system off to save battery means or how to fix 2021 Ford Edge

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ford vehicles have a max idle setting of 30 mins and then will turn off. But you can disable that setting if you want

    Seems to struggle with Apple Car Play on my vehicle. If it senses the phone via BT or USB, Apple Car Play should automatically start, Not make me go through telling it to use the associated phone all the time.

      Depends on how you have it built out - full build is in the description of the video but this one new back in 2021 was:
      $48,699 Canada
      $44,655 USA

    Yours is an EXCELLENT tutorial! I don't see any others on TH-cam anywhere near as good. We watched yours for learning about my wife's new car... the videos in the Edge's computer, and the booklets from Ford were not a fraction as well done. But when you are speaking publicly as an expert (and I believe you are an expert), you should make certain you don't us any mispronounced words that are commonly mispronounced by dummies. How to pronounce "lever" is a matter of regional dialect, but ignoring how a word is spelled is a signal to listeners that someone is not very literate.
    I refer to the term "et cetera" which you use quite liberally. There is no 'X' in "et cetera", just as there is no 'X' in "escape". Every time you made this awkward mispronunciation, my eyes rolled. You would lose points in listener confidence each time.
    But ASIDE from that... great job. Thanks!

      Working on slowing it down! Will be different for the 2022 video - but in the meantime if you change the playback speed to 0.75x that will help

    You forgot the hands free opening for rear door I gave a thumbs down because you missed some feature and you bounce back and fourth hard to follow I’d recommend start from the front of the vehicle work your way to the back please don’t take this negative I am giving feedback to help future videos be even better.

      Check out 3:55 in the video - I demonstrate how the foot activated liftgate works. It's unfortunate you feel an hour long video that covers the majority of the features of the vehicle deserves a down vote but to each their own
