I started with iRacing not that long ago and I'm new to the FF1600. I unfortunately don't have a clutch pedal or a double clutch on the wheel,...only the paddle shifters and I lose three or four positions every start, because of that. You don't seem to use an H pattern shifter either. How do you get such a good start? Very much enjoy your videos btw.
In this car it's fastest to just drop the clutch completely off the line, so you don't need a clutch pedal, you just need to assign any button on your wheel to 2nd clutch. Then before the lights: Shift into 1st Hold down button for 2nd clutch Rev to 100% When lights go green, release 2nd clutch Then you'll get a good start
I do have a clutch pedal, but it works more like a button for this car. When starting, just hold full throttle and dump the clutch, and that seems to work okay
