  • Energy plays a major role in the everyday functions of our planet and all its life forms. From weather patterns and food chains, to human society’s daily electricity and heating needs, energy is the driver of everything we know. This video series highlights the seven Energy Literacy Principles, which demonstrate energy’s role across the natural and social sciences.

The lessons on the DOE web page designed by AGI can really help in the use of these videos. energy.gov/eere/education/downloads/energy-literacy-videos

What a waste of money. If you think statements like "becoming more energy literate enables us all to make decisions more wisely" are worth something then you haven't been awake for the past 35 years. Despite what we all know and have known about energy, we still rely on fossil fuels. It will take a lot more than vacuous platitudes to ever change the way we use energy. Is this the best that DOE can come up with after 35 years of trying?
