Thank you sooooo much! I was searching for this topic and your video was first on my search. You rock! Subscribed. I'm obsessed with these plants and trying to learn all their needs.
Awesome Chuck, this clears up my confusion between the two. I thought I had a colorata but now I think it’s a chihuahuensis 😂. I have a matured chihuahuensis plant and I was thinking my colorata baby looks a lot like it.
I had to watch that again to really learn the difference. A very informative video.. I took screen shoots as reference. Thanks Chuck I really enjoyed this.
I did a couple of comparison videos before, here's Echeveria glauca vs Echeveria elegans: th-cam.com/video/dbxlV0niG7k/w-d-xo.html and Echeveria affinis vs Echeveria "Black Prince": th-cam.com/video/64pEemXIsEg/w-d-xo.html
That's one of the next ones I'll work on! I was originally thinking of doing a chihuahuaensis vs colorata vs Tippy vs Elation but figured that would be a really long video. I'll do a chihuahuaensis vs Tippy vs Elation instead.

You're welcome! Glad you found the videos useful!
Screwed up a bit in the ending credits, but who watches that anyway? 😂

Ahhh, I always wanted to know the difference between both! Thanks Chuck
Glad it helped!

Omg so beautiful, I would love to have a purple and blue echeveria in that size 😍
I need to repot mine...it's a double headed colorata.
Can you tell me the differences between E. Chihuahuaensis variegated and Chihuahuaensis variegated aurea?
Very interesting :) I seem to gravitate towards echeveri with 'mucronate' leaves :o cute and chubby
Yes! They tend to be bowl-like and compact. Really nice!
Hey chuck¡! How about the Tippy, to me it looks like them, or not?
That's one of the next ones I'll work on! I was originally thinking of doing a chihuahuaensis vs colorata vs Tippy vs Elation but figured that would be a really long video. I'll do a chihuahuaensis vs Tippy vs Elation instead.
Dear Chuck I have an idea for next Cerriscapedia: Echeveria pullidonis versus Echeveria sagita. What do you think??
Excellent idea! My sagita rot and died last year but I can go look for a new one.
LINDAS MESMO!!
Thank you!
