What brand of mold are you using?
Hello Steve
I got this mold online on ebay. The seller was Fishing4u however on the mold its written Yourmold. Its made from aluminium I believe.
Hope that helps you out.
@@makeshiftlures It does. Thank you. I want to give this style of fishing a try and I have several boxes of flies to experiment with. Have a great day.
Where do you get your clips from when you don’t have any???
Hello ganjatokes3476
Thank you for your comment.
Not completely sure which clips you referring to. I got the mould on ebay. With the mould came little flat pieces of metal that go inside the mould to make a hole in the weight. The clamp that holds the mould closed I found in a hardware store.
Hope that helps
@@makeshiftlures the clips you made with wire that go into weight
@ganjatokes3476 that can be tricky to find wire loops to go inside the weight. That's why I got the wire in jewelry store and made my own clips (wire loops) because if you try to find clips to by they might be to long or to small. Or the wire might be to thick or loops to big. If you looking to buy it you will be better of buying the whole lot weight and clips together. Alternatively, if you already have the weight you can make your own clips if you follow steps in video.
@@makeshiftlures was it stainless steal wire???
@ganjatokes3476 yes it was stainless steel wire for making necklaces and bracelets. It is sometimes referred to as spring or memory wire. As it is stiff and holds its shape when loop is made.
