Thanks, Yasmine! Getting ready is key! Starting at least 2 hours early will save you so much stress. Try it out next time you host an event. My husband and kids were upstairs. They gave us our privacy. But since I was hosting my sisters, they did want to see the girls, so they made a brief appearance. 😊 Also, there are times when my husband will take the girls to my MIL’s house while I/we host something at the house.

I'm typically ready for couples or birthday nights; but if it's something that includes the entire family, my makeup is never done because I put so much time into getting the girls ready. They're older now & i'm better with boundaries. So we'll see, lol. Got it to your family being upstairs. My crew will usually go out for a little bit but are always back before we wrap up. They're never a bother, just curious.
