Japanese are very mixed in general (much more ethnically diverse than, let's say, koreans) so the diversity in their looks is pretty large. Some have very strong caucasian features (Ken Hirai), some look like chinese/koreans, some look like filipinos or south-east asians, some even look like eastern russians/siberians (the ainu people), in other words, it's like a mixed bag of different ethnic features in a country of 120something million people.
