Unity within the family and the church is something was on my heart alot during the holiday season and even more so going into the new year. As we draw closer to the second coming so the bride will be restored to itself before it meets Christ in the air. When the two witnesses are United they shall bring the church together as we enter into tribulation. Continue to live in peace with all men
On the day of Pentecost that was the miracle that people from the scattered nations were there and heard their own language God being magnified and the people doing the speaking in tongues did not know the language

Wat about just staying at home until you find the right church. Who can be helped spiritually listening to the wrong guidance?? Why should anyone stay at a church that isn’t preaching the gospel accordingly? Someone teach me please

I've been thru 3 Churches in less than 4 years. Can't believe I stayed so long at some of them. Teaching things like prosperity doctrine, having to be baptized to have eternal life, pre tribulation rapture, and stuck up pride filled people. I don't think there is a church that doesn't teach something wrong.
Many People who speak in tongues want to elevate themselves ABOVE others due to Pride.

Holy Spirit baptism is receiving the Holy Spirit given to every believer at conversion then we begin a long slow transformation that ends when we breath our last breath.

Walking in the Fruits of the Spirit and a transformed life is evidence of the Holy Spirit baptism and the Gifts of the Spirit are still in operation but most today are operating in the Flesh.

We can Quench (Stop) the holy Spirit from working in us via Sin and disobedience.

Believers can walk away from Salvation and turn back to sin and end up in the lake of fire.

Baptism by fire is for the Wicked, Matthew 3:11-12

Awesome, Anne! Thank you for reaching out to us and seeking to understand this topic more. Below, you will find Andrew's notes on speaking in tongues:
"The heavenly prayer language exists in every believer who has asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It's just a matter of releasing it. As we praise God in English, we can simply switch over to a heavenly language that our mind won't comprehend. God does not take over our jaw, lips, tongue and vocal chords. We activate the sounds. The Spirit gives the inspiration.
It is similar to receiving the inspiration for a song. We hear it on the inside, but it is up to us to take paper and pen and write down the impressions that we have had. God doesn't force us to write, nor is it 'automatic handwriting.'
So it is with speaking in tongues. The inspiration of the Spirit is within, and we provide the vocal chords, the tongue, the lips and the will. We can start and stop and speak loudly or softly as we wish. The Spirit gives the inspiration but we control how much we want to release.
So it is with the other gifts as well. We have inspirations, 'ideas,' 'burdens,' etc., and we begin to step out in faith with words or actions to bless others. We know that we know that the ability of God is within us and that He wants to flow through us, but we must get out of the boat. God does not force these things, nor take over our bodies and make us do things without our cooperation.
There is a prayer language that is available to all Christians who have been filled with the Holy Spirit. It is only a matter of believing you have received and then taking a step of faith. As you begin to form words that are foolishness to your mind, your spirit will give you more and more, and you will soon be flowing in a heavenly tongue. This heavenly prayer language goes beyond our limited understanding and is the perfect prayer."

No...he had to Ascend, and 10 days later sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. It's called the spirit of Christ...and it's for us down here

How to be baptism in the holy spirit ???
Hello, Maria! Thank you for reaching out.
We want to encourage you that God wants to help all of His children receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. All we have to do is ask (Luke 11:11-13)!
Being baptized with the Spirit allows us to walk in His freedom and His power. When we simply ask for the Holy Spirit, we receive! God does not withhold good gifts from us. We can ask in confidence!
Speaking in tongues is part of the amazing power that the Holy Spirit gives us. Speaking in tongues edifies us (1 Cor 14:4), refreshes us (Isa 28:11-12), and keeps us aware of the love of God (Jude 20-21).
We encourage you to simply ask your Father for the gift of His Holy Spirit right now and release the gift of speaking in tongues!
The manifestation of tongues sounds different for everyone, but one thing is always the same: the person must start speaking in order to activate the gift. God is not going to force anyone to do anything, including speaking in tongues.
The sounds that you begin to make may sound like foolishness to your mind, (1 Cor. 14:2, 14-15), but that is because it is your spirit praying, not your mind! Your spirit is praying a perfect prayer! We encourage you to press through any thoughts of foolishness by faith and allow your spirit to speak through your vocal cords.

One way for the body of Christ to come into unity, is for everyone to dump the official trinity doctrine. This doctrine muddies the waters between Jesus and his Father. There’s too many people who believe Jesus is the Most High God. No, Jesus is the son of God. He was constantly correcting people regarding this. Most people take what I just said as heresy. I believe this simple, yet great deception is one of the biggest hinderances to the body of Christ.
Hi, Davis! We'd like to share Andrew's viewpoint on the Trinity of God. He believes that the revelation of the Trinity of God was revealed in Scripture since the beginning of time even though some understood it several hundred years after Scripture was written.
The confusion for many is misunderstanding the difference between Jesus' identity and His ministry. His identity is God, which the Jews understood Him to claim on more than one occasion and therefore, tried to stone Him (Jn 10:30-33). There was no doubt in their minds what Jesus was claiming (Jn. 5:18)!
Jesus made His identity clear when He claimed, "I and the Father are one" (Jn. 10:30). However, we see that His ministry was submitted to the Father, and He could also say, "The Father is greater than I" (Jn. 14:28). Once we understand that Jesus' identity and ministry are two different subjects, it will be easier to understand the concept of the trinity.
Jesus, the eternal Word, who though being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men (Phil. 2:6-7).
His identity hasn't changed, but His ministry is now as the Son of Man/Son of God. Thus, the Father was not dying for the sins of the children. The Son gave His life for the sins of the whole world.
