Rich, I've been watching you, Sam, and Legit for some time now. I just bit the bullet and got a 2016 P90D with 21K miles. I have to say, no car will ever feel the same again. Thank you for all your videos.

How has no one mentioned that this is bad advice? Use a jack stand and never leave a jack with weight on it for any amount of time. A jack is a lifting device only. A wheel stashed under the vehicle while it’s elevated should only be a last resort ie in case you’re on the side of the road, but don’t plan to do any wrenching on a vehicle while it’s teetering on a jack, you might die.
Russell Krue either way it’s good advice especially if you’re just looking, especially like in the video. Even when on jack stands, I still put a tire or two underneath just in case for both mine and the cars protection
Tesla should have autojacks built in. it's amazing that they don't actually have any new features to improve the overall ownership experience - just tweaks to existing automotive shit.
The phrase "What Tesla will do when they find out you fixed your own car" sounds like a joke, yet it's not. That's just disappointing, and completely unacceptable. You own your car, they shouldn't be able to remotely brick it because you touched up some paint and replaced a fancy spring.

Super Rich! Loosens lug nuts by hand and works in flip flops! He must be a cyborg sent from the future to save us from being enslaved by Tesla. No other explanation is feasible!
I was just thinking the same thing, just go to Louis Rossman's channel, he fixes apples poor workmanship for a living and it's a pain in the ass. Tesla sounds just like Apple, bad for the consumer.
See I dont know why these fanboys worship Elon like hes the next Messiah, hes not bottom line is its all about the money. See if Tesla came out 30 years ago it would have sank now a days you have more people brainwashed that theyre saving the world going electric dont get me wrong its a nice car but the only thing your saving is Mr. Musk's bank account.
I was thinking the same, until I tried one....So now i own a P85+ But in Norway, Tesla has a huge marked share, so spear parts er easy to come by and there are many service centers here.
[] If you think having the wheel jammed solid into the wheel house, locking up which could cause the car to loose control or completely fall off of being dangerous, then yes
Ian Pat slow or not but still it can ripped out soo easily and than they testing also with acceleration. Like what? Idk who are these people who think that in this shape of car test drive is safe even slow speed. If there one more thing goes broken because u driving with broken lower control arm, it can rip offthe whole wheel from there. Than u have already few thousand extra work.
"Needs additional thousand dollars in rivets" Normal rivets are like $30 per thousand unit quantity, do Tesla make them out of unobtainium or something?
They have deep fake also look it up next time you see someone it might not even be them even if it sounds just like them scary shit a.i. is real like an instant clone of you only digital though its fucking mind blowing
Ditto. I didn't know Tesla was such a pain in the ass company to deal with until i found this channel. I will wait for Toyota or Honda to start mass producing their own electric cars.
The tiny margins and difficulties with planned obsolesce with EVs makes it a tough sell within the traditional auto industry. Without an electric only competitor the industry will keep their EVs at nothing more than a Fata Morgana.
Rich shows him a severed suspension arm and two minutes later the guy asks "so like why is it not driving straight ?" That's like Jill saying "Hey Jack, theres a hole in your pale and two minutes later Jack asks "so like why won't my bucket fill up with water?"
There's a thin line between crazy and genius (Jada Pinket Smith, Red Table Talk.) Both you, Rich, and Elon have the same daring personality. We are lucky to have you.
Mad finger strength on those lug nuts, bro! Seriously though... That's an INSANE repair cost. Swap a shock, replace a link... check everything else is true... drive it until it dies. Or DIY the fender repair for a bit more. It still blows my mind that Tesla can impartially decide, via remote diagnostic, if your car is effed... and proceed to make your life a living hell. I'm sorry, I could never buy such a vehicle. Especially with this endless bullshit about parts and who can/can not work on the vehicles.
@@MadCuzUBroke Wouldn't want one, unless it's free and I'm allowed to sell it. I also don't have an iPhone, for exactly the same reason: the technology is cool, but the restrictions they want to place on something the customer owns is unacceptable.
@@user2C47 it might be unacceptable, but is in no way a game changer for any regular customer that’s not a mechanic themselves. Same thing for iphones; I might not have the right to repair it, but if it was to need repairs I could use apple care and get the best repair or replacement and keep my phone for 5 years with one battery change at most. New teslas rarely need service and most of the time it’s warranty covered.
Great info for a person who would like a Tesla someday. But with all the negative videos out there, it’s hard to get excited over one. The original cost is crazy, insurance costs are crazy and repair times are trouble too. Many tks for what you are doing to inform us wannabes. I will definitely stay tuned. Tks again
Great deal! 1. Give the man the money 2. Stop smiling like you stole it 3. Tow it to your cousins house 4. Get free parts from uncle rich 5. In a month drive your dirt cheap Tesla 6. Giggle like a school girl everyday
So let me get this straight, tesla will not give software rights out to allow people to work on their vehicle that they personally Own ? From what I remember OBD2 what is mandated by the government and all vehicle manufactures have a standardize diagnostic system so that private repair shops and owners can repair their vehicle. How has tesla been able to get around this?
The laws require tesla to provide the same diagnostic tools the dealership repair shop has. Loophole is, Team a doesn't have a dealership repair shop, or even a dealership.
Rich, You are the real thing when it comes to a car guy. Innovative, knowledgeable, willing to take risk and willing to help others. Elon just said he wished someone else could run the company-- I think it should be you. Better service and better sources for parts would open many folks to owning one of these machines. Keep on what you are doing.
Yeah a salvaged title would drop its value. But I think it would have to have been bought from an insurance company that wrote it off to get a salvaged title if I am not mistaken. Since this was a private seller that seemed to have it prior to the accident I doubt it would have a salvage title in this instance.
Why didn't you offer to fix it for the owner? Do the suspension work, get the body panel and a body shop to do the metalwork - they get their car fixed for $5k or so and you get a few $$$ for yourself?
That would honestly be the best thing to do here, seeing it as he loves working on these cars and the owner would probably be eternally grateful for such a thing.
Owner wants to upgrade to dual motor car. This is an opportunity for someone else. This isn’t my full time gig. I have family and a job and trying to keep you guys entertained. Too many projects.
Rich Rebuilds Actually most of the people don't realize how many time(precious time) takes to edit and post all those vids. And to run a normal life, job and familiy above all. I've runed into your channel and kept watching because I'm personaly hobby mechanic and your enthusiasm is what drove me here. Tesla is just a car like any other and some day everybody gonna drive one. It' s nice to learn things through vids you make, one day they gonna help a lots of people. Keep the good work.
hey for those broken links you can make your own using heim joints and steel tubing look into the four by four people and how they make tie rods you can easily make these links you could probably make them out of aluminum in tapping screw the heim joints into it needs a lock that you'll be able to be fully adjustable with the heim joints to
Yeah, that's one thing that gets me off when it comes to Teslas. These touch screens always look like someone fried bacon on em! I kinda of a germaphobe ...
I sold my car on craiglist years ago. Easy transaction. Nobody maintains a car like I do. Only dealer serviced and all service records given to a new owner. Sometimes you’ll find gems like that even on CL. You have to do due diligence and check.
+Elon might agree to a chat, only to cash in on his marketing panache. Elon is smart, he is also smarmy. Smarmy was invented by another car guy, Jay Leno.
Repairing Tesla is one main factor why I haven’t committed to purchasing a Tesla in addition to Athos having complete control of my 4 wheel computer. Informative as always
I think the reason why Tesla is so uptight about repairs is because every time one is in an accident it's national news on every channel for a week. Things will cool down as the company solves it's manufacturing issues and can focus on maintenance as the cars age a bit. For now though it's just early adopter issues which are present in any tech segment. All car manufacturers make repairs tougher than they should be in some ways but I think time will help this issue.
I live in Indiana. On autos the State minimum property liability insurance coverage is $25,000. This is popular coverage for the young student or blue collar worker. Often it is all they can afford. Let’s say for example you are rear ended at a stop light while driving your Tesla. If the individual that hit you has State minimum insurance coverage, it’s likely the Tesla repair cost will exceed the policy property liability limits of the individual at fault. Not a good situation. This makes a strong case for adding Under Insured Driver coverage on your Tesla policy. It is also another reason why insurance coverage for these cars is so expensive. Another great video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. You have to be the most intelligent guy doing car videos on YT.... No doubt in my mind.
Christopher Fortin No kidding. The European “supercar” manufacturers also employ a high pricing strategy on their parts. Which I guess is expected with a $100,000+ car. However, If I were considering an electric vehicle, I would take exception to buying a car that gives the manufacturer the ability to turn it off. Just doesn’t seem right.
Welcome to the connected car era. While they don't totally disable the car, you can forget about Supercharging. A way around it may be to remove the SIM card from the cellular module, though I don't know what all that will disable (maps and streaming audio will obviously go).
That Gallardo was probably 200k+ new. Exotic cars are a bit different since there seems to be a much higher floor on prices, the realistic comparison for this car would be a 5 or 7 series BMW which would be worth about 1/2 this in the same condition according to KBB.
I am not a Tesla owner but like the level of detail on your videos. I will definitely steer clear from these cars after seeing the limitations and roadblocks Tesla owners face.
Yeah Rich...step up to the batters box and buy it yourself. You got some equity in that house of yours, plus your salary from your hours behind the counter at the convenience store (joking...I have no idea what your job is).
To all the comments on why you didn't buy it yourself: $19K and even if that is dirt cheap for a Tesla, it's still $19K, and not everybody can afford to spend that kind of money. I know I wouldn't be able to rip $19K out of my budget just like that.
Seriously man. I’ve been looking to buy an old, say 1975 or older, project truck for over a year now. Most are under 10K, some even $1500. Regardless, I can’t even afford that. I don’t know where people get off thinking this dude can shit $19,000 out his ass lmao
Daniel Tuchscherer true, true. Good credit can be pretty rare, though, unless you’re very responsible or have a financial advisor. With my family, we make like $120k a year, but thanks to my mothers lack of knowledge with finances (or lack of care lol), we still only have a 600ish credit rating, and still struggle with money. It’s pretty difficult to safely throw out large amounts of money for something like this, just because there’s really no guarantee.

This is a must grab. With your knowledge and parts base plus your knowledge of people who sell parts, this should be an easy and maybe half the time to fix it. Great find Rich
Wow. I am a DIY guy, love what you are doing Rich. I think you need to come out here to LA and open a shop. I am sure it will boom, move close to EV West and just take on there overflow it is big.
Car manufacturers today have to write up a recycling plan for new cars. I think something like 80% of the car needs to be recyclable or something like that. That being said, lithium is one of the worst things you can pick if youw ant to dig up and mine the ground.
+RygartARTB You are correct about lithium, the main source is from some desert area in South America, perhaps the Atacama desert. Lithium is NOT a major ingredient in electric car batteries, although it is very necessary. Thing is, SODIUM based batteries may make a breakthrough soon, they will have 3x the energy density of Lithium, charge faster, and the sodium will come from sea water.
🤔I “was” thinking about buying a new Tesla. I pass by a store almost everyday at Avalon mall in Alpharetta on my way to/from the office... but nah....none for me, I want a car I can actually drive and enjoy. I’ll wait until they have Tesla repair shops on every other corner.😃
I live in Atlanta, Buckhead to be precise, literally I’m jogging distance to Lenox mall and all of a sudden there’s A LOT of Tesla’s here. Even in my complex, there’s a guy here that garages his Model 3. Saw it hum pass me as I was sitting in my vehicle and didn’t see it come back around(one way in/out, thought it was dropping someone off). But there’s a Tesla dealership in Decatur, on Church Street, beside the BMW dealership(I have an X5). So if you buy one, you probably wouldn’t have to wait that long for service 😂. I’m still going to buy one, I’m just waiting for the announcement of the Model Y first to decide on which model I’m getting.
It is great there is people like you out there. I do not have one but like what you do. I'm here in Florida. I like what I see with Tesla. But here it is .. 250 miles with the car is not good for most people. If I had the money to buy one. I think it would be cool too have.
That's a lot of hassle and money for car repairs. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I have a Tesla service center near me and the storage lot is getting so full of cars in line for repairs. This makes me third guess my decision to get a Tesla. Rich will be getting rich ($) from this channel. Well done brother.
Me and my girlfriend were each thinking about getting Teslas. Glad I came across your channel. Didn’t think about the insurance part of it and if I might have to ship it for repairs.
rich I see a very big problem in how you are working at 6:36. You are using a breaker bar to tighten the wheel nuts. You’re only supposed to use a breaker bar when taking off tight fitting nuts and bolts.
Thank you Rich for mentioning my problem .

Super Rich! Loosens lug nuts by hand and works in flip flops! He must be a cyborg sent from the future to save us from being enslaved by Tesla. No other explanation is feasible!
Hahahs trueeeee
Tesla sounds like Apple, watching your channel has put me off Tesla
I was just thinking the same thing, just go to Louis Rossman's channel, he fixes apples poor workmanship for a living and it's a pain in the ass. Tesla sounds just like Apple, bad for the consumer.
Tesla, con of the century, so many taking the bait, thinking they are saving earth in the process.
All of these models are tesla model s and model x, I have bit seen a poorly built modern model 3 yet
I was thinking the same, until I tried one....So now i own a P85+ But in Norway, Tesla has a huge marked share, so spear parts er easy to come by and there are many service centers here.
You got some balls even driving a car with with a broken suspension link
Leofred is it actually dangerous ?
[]
If you think having the wheel jammed solid into the wheel house, locking up which could cause the car to loose control or completely fall off of being dangerous, then yes
Leofred I was thinking the same. Punch it....WTH were they thinking!
He went slow.
"Do you have a butter knife?" ... Rich don't need Harbor Freight.. He needs Sur le Table.
I up-voted you because you used some French words!
obsolete professor i was like noo the dude wont get the joke so sad
obsolete professor I
Yvan Roy I mean sur la table is a very popular store
Harbor Freight is trash lmao
No damage, It just has the 3 wheel steering upgrade.
"Needs additional thousand dollars in rivets"
Normal rivets are like $30 per thousand unit quantity, do Tesla make them out of unobtainium or something?
Vibranium from Wakanda, maybe ?
Lol
PooPipeBoy they are like apple and made their own screws so normal mechanics caint work on them
I'm thinking Nth Metal from Thanagar...🤔
Amazing strength......takes off wheel nuts with his fingers !
Noo dude video cuts video shopped
They have deep fake also look it up next time you see someone it might not even be them even if it sounds just like them scary shit a.i. is real like an instant clone of you only digital though its fucking mind blowing
@@chris-cy5ed no, can't be
did he drive on the highway with that? What the actual hell. That is dangerous af. Even the testdrive shouldn't have been done.
All your videos just put me off buying a Tesla.
Ditto. I didn't know Tesla was such a pain in the ass company to deal with until i found this channel. I will wait for Toyota or Honda to start mass producing their own electric cars.
@@josephletts1093 damm that's real talk
Joseph Letts Volt is better!
Joseph Letts Volt has been out awhile & beats Tesla S hands dwn! No hondas or Toyota's here.
Not sure how I got here, but I learned a lot and glad there are guys out there like Rich willing to help.
Joe rogan has an interview with him its great
Mad finger strength on those lug nuts, bro!
Thank you for what you're doing Rich. Your knowledge and experience are immensely helpful to all current and future Tesla owners.
I considered buying a Tesla and while owning a Tesla sounds very cool, hearing you describe the support and repair issues makes me think twice.
Yeah i really wanted one. Ill wait until they can be repaired without jumping through hoops. Insurance has to be high with all that risk.
@@smallbusinessdreams Even 4 years later, I'd still rather swap a broken gas car than have a Tesla.
@@user2C47 mad cuz u dont have one
Mexican mechanic would fix for $500, he would have the broken piece welded, and fix and paint the fender himself.
And when you go in a day or 2 later to get it fixed again and or get your money back dudes gone lol
Lol and his Bondo would pop off in 2 miles
Of COURSE a cast aluminum link could be repaired, ie welded and even gusseted to make it better-than snuff.
And steal all the electronics
And that weld snaps in days
Great info for a person who would like a Tesla someday. But with all the negative videos out there, it’s hard to get excited over one. The original cost is crazy, insurance costs are crazy and repair times are trouble too. Many tks for what you are doing to inform us wannabes. I will definitely stay tuned. Tks again
You're a nice guy for helping him, You just don't see that to often. Good stuff.
Rich is my father despite the fact that I am older than him.
Great deal!
1. Give the man the money
2. Stop smiling like you stole it
3. Tow it to your cousins house
4. Get free parts from uncle rich
5. In a month drive your dirt cheap Tesla
6. Giggle like a school girl everyday
This video is an eye opener.
@The Legend of Texas Brill
ODB2 was mandated for emissions
@The Legend of Texas Like Trumps son and top advisor? I thought Trump was gonna drain the swamp, not bring ut
Tesla is not considered a cart but in fact an electronic company
The laws require tesla to provide the same diagnostic tools the dealership repair shop has.
Loophole is, Team a doesn't have a dealership repair shop, or even a dealership.
Those costs are unreal, just not feasible to buy a Tesla new unless you are minted...
The tolerance for Tesla's potential breach of anti-trust laws is so astounding that it's almost absurd.
"Is it on FIRE" lol
Rich, You are the real thing when it comes to a car guy. Innovative, knowledgeable, willing to take risk and willing to help others. Elon just said he wished someone else could run the company-- I think it should be you. Better service and better sources for parts would open many folks to owning one of these machines. Keep on what you are doing.
Stumbled on your page, watched a couple videos, you're freaking genius.
If this car didn't get salvaged, it's a killer deal.
Yeah a salvaged title would drop its value. But I think it would have to have been bought from an insurance company that wrote it off to get a salvaged title if I am not mistaken. Since this was a private seller that seemed to have it prior to the accident I doubt it would have a salvage title in this instance.
Tesla is not a good company if they can just turn off a car.
n kn that's like a lot of new cars lol.
I admire exactly this attitude; having a hard time keeping up with my hobbies and job and family...
Rich is the car still available? I live near you and I with some guidance I could handle this repair.
hey for those broken links you can make your own using heim joints and steel tubing look into the four by four people and how they make tie rods you can easily make these links you could probably make them out of aluminum in tapping screw the heim joints into it needs a lock that you'll be able to be fully adjustable with the heim joints to
This is first time I watched one of your videos. Heard you speak for 30 seconds and knew content was good. Subscribed!
Yeah, that's one thing that gets me off when it comes to Teslas. These touch screens always look like someone fried bacon on em!
I kinda of a germaphobe ...
Red Alert take a Clorox wipe to it you’ll be fine
Windex
"gets you off" would imply you really like it
Ever heard of a Lysol wipe?
Red Alert "Get's me off"
what could go wrong with a craigslist car? hehe
funkyzero he's probably going to complain
well, it wasn't that bad after all... just do it yourself, and psst to Tesla
Craigslist ad: One owner, low miles, garage kept!
Reality: Car was in a garage that burned down, and then flooded, with the car in it.
don't forget.. seller won't return calls, answer emails, or show up if he even does.
I sold my car on craiglist years ago. Easy transaction. Nobody maintains a car like I do. Only dealer serviced and all service records given to a new owner. Sometimes you’ll find gems like that even on CL. You have to do due diligence and check.
Wish you and Elon could have a nice long talk about all of these problems.
The Flying Gasmask That would be the ultimate video. Rich and Elon have a chat haha
They better hope
Makes a case for not owning a 100k electric car that needs 30k in body work after a fender bender and the manufacturer has a remote kill-switch on.
Christopher Fortin
No kidding.
How much could my foot apply - “50 lbs”
Never skip leg day Rich
Can Tesla electronically disable the car , if they don't like you fixing it? This is getting crazy.
Tesla dont care who fixes it
BMW and Mercedes are coming out with their electric cars , so Tesla is DOOMED.....
In a few months is wont matter. BMW and Mercedes are coming out with REAL Electric cars.
Welcome to the connected car era. While they don't totally disable the car, you can forget about Supercharging. A way around it may be to remove the SIM card from the cellular module, though I don't know what all that will disable (maps and streaming audio will obviously go).
DIOSpeedDemon oh yeah, the German car manufacturers have done nothing to screw over their customers. Dieselgate never happened.
Glad I started watching these videos--they've dampened my interest in owning a Tesla any time soon.
Rich, i think you are awesome. I also found out we live in the same state, im about 45 min south of boston. You are super helpful to strangers.
It kind of says something about used Model S prices that a 6 year old example, which has been crashed, is seen as a "crazy deal" at $20k.
Tavarish's 2006 Lamborghini was $60k and it had fire damage and didn't start.... and it was the cheapest in the US.
That Gallardo was probably 200k+ new. Exotic cars are a bit different since there seems to be a much higher floor on prices, the realistic comparison for this car would be a 5 or 7 series BMW which would be worth about 1/2 this in the same condition according to KBB.
Anton Maes yeah fair enough
Are you sure you are not lying I think it was 64
A used Model S will run you over $50K and that's the earliest models.
Needs to be checked on a frame rack. You cant eyeball for a bent frame. If it broke the link means it took a substantial amount of force on impact.
Yes you can...
Suspension does not stay up because the ride height sensor is giving wrong reading due to broken control arm.
I am not a Tesla owner but like the level of detail on your videos. I will definitely steer clear from these cars after seeing the limitations and roadblocks Tesla owners face.
First time watcher. Rich is like the cousin to NPRs Car Talk. Loved them & loved Rich. I'll be back 😉 👏 🚗
Why did you not buy it on the spot, easy fix for you!
He already blew about 20k on that Salvage.. His wife would leave him instantly if he buy this one .. 😂😂
@Kai-Zer Inc.: Win-Win situation. 😂😂
He could fix nearly for free, and flip it for more than double of what he paid, is not even salvage.
He has almost all the parts, only needs a fender.
Yeah Rich...step up to the batters box and buy it yourself. You got some equity in that house of yours, plus your salary from your hours behind the counter at the convenience store (joking...I have no idea what your job is).
What’re you thinking getting under that thing with no jack stand?!!
To all the comments on why you didn't buy it yourself: $19K and even if that is dirt cheap for a Tesla, it's still $19K, and not everybody can afford to spend that kind of money. I know I wouldn't be able to rip $19K out of my budget just like that.
123 T subscribers doesn't pay you a lot of money.
I beg to differ every 50k subscribers gets you about 2k a month
Tom S that’s not true , the number of subscribers you have don’t matter. You get paid from video views and ad views.
I am a high-rise building engineer, and electrical contractor an alarm contractor, my tool bag always has a standard kitchen butter knife and what I really love is actually a Ginsu knife, I couldn’t tell you how many things I have worked on with these two blades, a tool is only what you don’t know it is good for 🤪
Rich I can tell you have fun with your work. You inspire me to keep my 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and work on it. Thank you for your courage and sense of humor.
"We're gonna go for a ride."
Me - "THEY'RE GUNNA DRIVE IT LIKE THAT?"
Where did you get those safety sandals?
You've got to love a guy that shops for Teslas in flipflops!
Can someone explain to me what is so environmental about building cars which are so easy to write off?
"So why don't you think it's driving straight" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤔I “was” thinking about buying a new Tesla. I pass by a store almost everyday at Avalon mall in Alpharetta on my way to/from the office... but nah....none for me, I want a car I can actually drive and enjoy. I’ll wait until they have Tesla repair shops on every other corner.😃
I live in Gwinnett you surely noticed too how many TESLAS all of a sudden are on the road in GA! Damn...
I’m still going to buy one, I’m just waiting for the announcement of the Model Y first to decide on which model I’m getting.
try a bmw
It is great there is people like you out there. I do not have one but like what you do. I'm here in Florida. I like what I see with Tesla. But here it is .. 250 miles with the car is not good for most people. If I had the money to buy one. I think it would be cool too have.
I watched at least 4 of your videos this morning while putting my makeup on! You’re a riot!
Wow, you must wear a lot of makeup! Or maybe you just work as slowly as I do!
I would have flipped it, especially if I had the mechanical parts on hand like you do.
He didnt want to he wanted to repair it and make more profit less work
Labor to profit ratio was better fixing it he owns a shop
I really hope the person selling decides to fix it themself! Great video as always.
I wish some non profit would repair it and provoke Tesla to disable the car and then the court can decide over MA's right to repair law
Very useful information Rich! Thank you for what you're doing for all the Tesla enthusiasts out there!
Well done brother.
you should get in touch with louis rossman
he's very vocal about the right to repair as well
Me and my girlfriend were each thinking about getting Teslas. Glad I came across your channel. Didn’t think about the insurance part of it and if I might have to ship it for repairs.
Are those OSHA certified flip-flops???
Lol 😆
Love the relaxed look brethren. ✌🏾🤙🏾✊🏾
There was one here on Craigslist for $17k with 96k miles. No body damage & clean title
rich I see a very big problem in how you are working at 6:36. You are using a breaker bar to tighten the wheel nuts. You’re only supposed to use a breaker bar when taking off tight fitting nuts and bolts.
