Here's my first serious video of 2022! I was very experimental with this remake in regards to filming and color correction, and I feel it paid off well! Hope you all enjoy a remake of an episode that's not often adapted in Trainz! The original ep is definitely one of my favorites from Season 5 and I always wanted to remake it some day!

Honestly this is one of my favorite episodes. It just has a lot of engines that I love like Gordon, Percy and Duck, and George is just an absolute rager!
It's one of my favorite episodes too! I wanted to remake it for years but the main thing discouraging me from it was wondering how to recreate Gordon's crash. I'm still really grateful to @MasterOFTrainz - James for him editing it for me!
Amazing, the video edition is on another level, I'm happy to see this particular episode having a remake, the attention to details like the dust on top of the engines is second to none!

Am I the only one who finds it funny that George is asleep when Percy arrives to take him to the work place?
I've always loved this episode definitely an underrated one from season 5 this episode is basically "I think I will cause problems on purpose" the episode 😂
George is the embodiment of chaos! He's always causing it in each episode he's in!
When Sir Handel shouted to George is a reference to the episode Steamroller.
He probably still resents the embarrassment George caused him.

Fantastic editing, nice to see a classic series story adapted differently but faithfully.
The only thing I would pick up on is how did Oliver manage to get from Cronk to Crovan’s Gate before Gordon? Mind you, that’s only me nit-picking - I just love continuity haha.

I like that you added duck in the final scene and that you made a deleted scene shown in the end credits showing Percy and Toby rescuing Thomas.
I always like to add stuff in my remakes that's not in the original episodes!

3:58 It was George, Sir. He caused the accident because was being stubborn not to move out of Duck's way that's why Gordon crashed into one of his trucks he caused an accident to Thomas as well I think that steamroller has some explaining to do.

Good idea puting Oliver, Sir Handel, Peter Sam and Clarabel at the beginning and Duck at the ending.
I like to add a lot of characters in the background in my remakes, it makes them more different to the original episodes. I also felt it made sense to add Duck at the end because he was another engine George caused trouble for.

Sir Handel should've been in the original version at the beginning I am pretty sure he would've been at the beginning if it wasn't for model complications
@@LegendaryCaptain yeah sir handel had a rivalry with George but they didn’t make large scale model of sir handel because of budgetary until season 10

I Wish The Truck That Gordon Forced Out of The Way Had A Face: If That Truck Had A Face, Then That Shocked Expression Would Fit Perfect. Or Bulstrode’s Shocked Face Or Toad’s Wincing Face. I Think Bulstrode’s Shocked Face Would Be Used First When It Sees Gordon Heading Towards The Station And Before Gordon Forces The Truck Out of The Way, Toad’s Wincing Face Would Appear On The Truck.
And When The Truck Breaks Apart When It Hits The Ground, The Truck Would Have Bulstrode’s Sad Face But With A Boo-boo On His Eye To Resemble How Hurt It Got.

As Gordon hit the truck, we could see Oliver in the yard. But when Gordon arrived to meet Sir Topham Hatt, Oliver can be seen again. Well how did Oliver travel from Crosby to Crovan's Gate?

Yeah, since he wasn't too badly damaged he'd likely just get rebuilt. :P The poor fellow deserves it after being hit so badly like that.
I like how you George give even less room for Duck and his trucks. It always bugged me that Duck had plenty of room to get his trucks out of Gordon’s way in the original episode, even with George blocking the way.

Great remake by the way!
I got George "on" the flatbed with both a little Trainz and video editing magic. I used invisible track on top of the flatbed just make it look like he's loaded. The moving shots were done with some green screen work. ;p

What branch line is George tearing up?
The original episode just says it's an "old branch line". My theory would be some old line from Sodor's earlier days, when the S&M, W&S, and TK&E railways still existed.

It was all invisible track and green screen. I used invisible track for the static shots with George in the beginning, then I used invisible track AND green screen for the moving shots.

I really like Michael Angelis' narrations so I'm more prone to using the UK dub for my videos. However, I may use George Carlin's narrations instead sometimes. :P
