I always have infantry shield wall in the middle of the bridge and place archers on the sides and let them rain down horses chill in the back untill it gets desperate

@@EternalNico1 it made me think of those medieval drawings showing battles, you know the ones with the funny looking soldiers, only this one looks way better

How do you get that crosshair, and make your own troops, banner circle thing almost invisible?
Both in the settings. The crosshair setting should just be called crosshair and change it to 3 point, and then the other is friendly banner opacity where 0 is invisible and I think 100 is default

Which units were in the square? I'm pretty new to the game.
The infantry are elite Sturgian troops. They’re generally considered to be the best infantry in the game (equal with Imperial legionnaires), so they were especially suited to deal with the bridge battle. Here’s the likely assortment:
1. Sturgian heavy axemen (axe and shield)
2. Sturgian heavy spearmen (spear and shield)
3. Sturgian heroic line breaker (Greataxe or Greatsword)
Edit (since your probably also want the archers): The archers are Battanian Fian Champions, which are also super overpowered since they have both a bow and great swords, which makes them safe from cavalry charges. The melee cavalry are Imperial Elite Cataphracts, the second best heavy cavalry in the game. If you have the time in the late-game, I’d recommend going for vlandian banner knights instead, which are ridiculously hard to kill.

@@nuh_uh210 thanks I had identified the spearmen but knew there must be a mix. I'm starting to recognize and identify all the factions troops just working on the names now. Big time appreciate the eyes.
