Hello. How did you go from one province to another? Did you rent a car for the whole trip? We are planning to be on Panay Island from 1/25-2/7. Flying to Antique, Iloilo, Negros Oriental n Begris Occidental. Both are part of Panay Is. Then back to Iloilo, Gimaras, Capiz n Aklan. All 4 of us are 74 by 2024. Thanks for any tips you can share.

You don't need a building code. You just use your common sense not to build houses/buildings by the roadside. Sooner or later they will have road widening. Buti nalang yong mga magulang ko at mga sinaunang mga kalolohan natin gumamit ng common sense. Ngpatayo ng mga bahay malayo sa daan. And please those squatters left and right...hay naku po.
Reply to@@suskagusip1036- In provinces, because lands are plentiful, and without close gov't control and supervision, yes, you could in fact build your own home wherever you please without a permit, and Panay Province is a good example of a province life -- no residential housing zoning code is needed to build your home. But as a result of not having it, is the risk of possible gov't interference and losing your home from construction crew sent and approved by the gov't to your district -- when comes time to develop your area. They would normally come with a memorandum to remove your property if your home is out of zoning code. Zoning rules & regulations from the gov't tell community developers where housing; commerce; apartments; city; etc; must be built in a certain area and everybody in that area must comply with the gov't orders. With the bldg zoning code order, your home must be removed from its place by them -- if your house is in the way according to Comm Developers bldg zoning code right-of-way. Know that in this special situation, the gov't will buy your house after a fair appraisal for its overall worth -- you will receive money for your home because Developers must permanently demolish it and you will have to relocate someplace else. This is the gov't bldg zoning code ordinance not just in Panay Province but in Manila and nationwide now -- because of the Build Better More Programs by your gov't. Next time, when planning to build a new home, be sure to see your city hall office first -- they can tell you where you will be allowed to build your property without gov't disturbance and interruptions. be blessed. must behave. aug2023
