The main concern when I buy this kind of flashlight (21700 battery with usbC changing port) is: is it a true C to C charging? and Can it act as a power bank to charge my smartphone or not? It seems like a lot of manufacturer following this trend without realizing its true benefit. So far, the only True usb C light is Olight Marauder 2.
Seriously why did you have to show me this ?!?! Now I am on a payment plan with PayPal. Just ordered it in green with the red backlit switch. Been waiting for a flashlight like this!
Thanks for your reviews, very informative. When you do the size comparison could you please label which flashlight is which. This would make it easier to compare and get a sense of size. Thank you.
Basically what he's saying is it's NOT throttling down, but the LED getting hot and settling into it output along with the battery voltage leveling out after the initial drop. Most lights are brighter on start up and then settle into their true working output.
Grey body Spec'd with 9 SST-20 2700K 95CRI LEDs in Center, 3 SST-20 Deep Red in Outer LEDs and Red Button Backlight :) Primary Use as Electric Skateboarding light(Lots of cooling going 25-29mph:) and secondly as a night hiking / wildlife light!
@FLASHAHOLIC lol definitely a bit of a horror movie vibe. I've only been on one hike since owning it thus far to look for some nocturnal birds here in SoCal called the common poorwill. I like animals and a number of animal species i've come across don't seem to see the red light, thus they don't run off. Found 2 poorwills that seemed unphased by the red light. The 3 SST-20's are really nice and you get the "Predator" laser aiming device with the triangle configuration as a bonus! manker MC13 in red and Zebralight H502R AA Photo Red headlamp for battery changes and what not! Fellow flashaholic lol. How do you adjust the temperature settings on this one? Couldn' t figure it out as it seemed to be the same button sequence as the mode / color.. Love your channel by the way! Been watching, liking and subscribed for a few years now.
First off, great review for a great product! My brother, it would be great if you can list the tracks used for background music. I'm gobsmacked by the first track! Love it! ~ subbed
Very good video! I got my Noctigon K9.3 yesterday and I love it. Is there a possibility to enable SOS-Mode? My flashlight came without it. After Beacon it goes straight to Batt-Check.
I think you should add a new segment called the "Uber eats beacon". Set camera on tripod and walked like 100 meters out or so and shine it into the sky and see how high the beam goes up. The Uber eats reference is a meme from r/flashlight where the driver found the customer by following his k1 beam into the sky . But I'm sure you already know that
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV yah. If not I was thinking about osram yellow for channel 2. For some reason I cannot come to like sst. Based on online opinions ive concluded that sst may be high CRI but with an ugly tint cast. Like a 95 cri 4000k sst beside a nichia 95 cri 4000k are two different animals.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV right well I love the e21a and fireflies has 219b as an option on most of their lights. 219b tends to be a little more rosy than e21a which is just very slightly rosy
@@lightweaverx4381 There are actually some good bins of the sst-20 4000k with a tint that has a negative duv (rosy) but those are rarely used, the only confirmed example i know of is the limited copper/brass version of the MF01 mini (of wich i own) but even then, the tint shifts with the power load so even then its not completely ideal. Also the glas on the MF01 mini is garbage green tinted glass (of wich i replased with watch glass) wich defenintly dont make the near green sst20 4000k look any less green!
Finally an astrolux EC03 killer but when i noticed price i wasn't happy. Probably if he could make it cheaper without all there colour led and channel. 2 led what are in my opinion useles there.
You can’t beat the Astrolux ec03 for the money. About a $40 flashlight in comparison to the other 3 which are near $100 or more yet when you compare beam shots it looks as, or near as, bright as the others. Definitely brighter than the Noctigon.
Great review as always but i am not impressed of the light compared to the others. Also to much money and it drains the 21700s very fast when you play a little bit with the light it is an battery sucker!

The video and the light were great. The first piece of music was great. I'd appreciate knowing the title so I can play it at home. Thanks for another excellent video!

Andruil 2 with the USB-C port in the threads.
V3?
It would have to be a v3 to accommodate a tube like that. So a V3. I get sloppy thought.
Can you choose which channel is used in the strobe modes?
Yes!
What made you go with those options? I guess these choices makes sense for a review opposed to say 3 red leds as a secondary

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV , ...hey man, I have been watching a lot of your videos, ...keep up the good work!
...I have been looking around for a little while now, for a flashlight that has a very particular set of features, ...i'm kind of new to this hobby, ...and this whole market is kind of complicated out there, ...because there's a lot of places, and brands to search, and sift through...
...so, I figured that I should just stop making this hard on myself, ...and stop wasting any more of my time, ...and to just go on ahead and ask you, ...because you seem to know alot about all of these flashlights, ...a whole hell of a lot more than pretty much anybody else that I have seen out there so far, ...especially by the way that you test them all out in the same manner, because you always stick to that same format for all of your videos, ...because you know that consistency when testing, is the most important thing!!!
...and so, ...anyway, ...here is my question:
...what is, in your expert opinion, (if it even exists) ...would be the best, and highest quality, flashlight out there, ...that would have all, (or as many as possible) ...all of the following features, ...all contained within just one, compact, EDC flashlight?
1.
...has the ability to function on Nichia, high emitters...
2.
...has the ability to be able to run on the Anduril2 software, ...and use both the simple, and the Advanced UI interface...
3.
...has the ability to be able to easilly update the Anduril2 firmware, with an easily accessible, built-in USB port connection, ...preferably, USB-C...
4.
...has the ability to be able to charge with an easily accessible, built-in charging port, ...preferably, USB-C, ...and, has a High quality, removable battery, ...and, has a battery that's also included with the flashlight...
5.
...has the broadest range of built-in, customizable, different colors, of the whole spectrum? ...for example, it could produce the full spectrum of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, and pretty much, have the capability to produce the full rainbow of all colors...
6.
...has the ability to be able to adjust, alter, and calibrate the white balance, as well as the color temperature, ...each gradually, and completely independent, covering the entire kelvin color spectrum wavelength...
7.
...has the ability to be able to adjust the brightness, intensity, and lumens of each separate RGB, color, hue, and color temperature, all independently, ...all nice, and even, on a gradual, and smooth scale...
8.
...has the ability to be able to combine all of the different features mentioned above, ...all together, ...all simultaneously, ...and, all at once, ...because, this will grant the user an opportunity to instantly have access to a vast array of a complete arsenal, of limitless, unique, and infinite combinations of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, a complete rainbow of colors, ...as well as, independent white balance, color temperature, and the kelvin color spectrum, ...all combined with independent brightness, intensity, and lumens adjustment capabilities, ...would make the total number of all the possible different visual options, ...seemingly endless!

Thanks for your reviews, very informative. When you do the size comparison could you please label which flashlight is which. This would make it easier to compare and get a sense of size. Thank you.
I'm a bit confused. It has aneuril 2 yet you can still double click for turbo without ramping to ceiling?
Yes!
Is the thumbnail a photoshop, or is there a scenario that has two different colors of AUX LEDs on at the same time?
Where does the Noctigon brand come from? I thought Hank Wang's brand was Emisar.
He made Noctigon lights first then Emisar now both.
Can you run both channels at the same time?
Sadly no. But you might be in an update.
@flashaholic, please do a review on the Noctigon K1 🙏🙏🙏
Just to make sure: ANSI lumens means light output after throtteling down?
Output after 30 seconds
Basically what he's saying is it's NOT throttling down, but the LED getting hot and settling into it output along with the battery voltage leveling out after the initial drop. Most lights are brighter on start up and then settle into their true working output.
Whats the music in the beginning of the video? Sound good.
It's from the Filmora sound library
very good review video and music fantastic light with so many colours👍
Just need matching switch RGB leds!
How would you Compare this one to the Sofirn IF25 Ramping color?
Obviously you don't get that peachy 4500k area of tint but you get twice as much CRI power at 4000K. Tbh they are both the best lights available imo.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thank you
Grey body Spec'd with 9 SST-20 2700K 95CRI LEDs in Center, 3 SST-20 Deep Red in Outer LEDs and Red Button Backlight :) Primary Use as Electric Skateboarding light(Lots of cooling going 25-29mph:) and secondly as a night hiking / wildlife light!
You could hike in red light? It'd feel like you were in an 80's vampire film.
Figured out the thermal configuration and maxed it out at 158°F to use with gloves!

We should have had this flashy torch in the late sixties😂😂😂😂
What had happened in the late sixties ? I was born in the early eighties.
@@Aecbtecb probably referring to the Hippie movement rather than some development in LED technology that was held back.
We did a stick and orange sunshine , worked for me .
Beautiful Aux.
Only thing I do not like is that you have to take the head off to recharge, otherwise I’ve decided to order it.
Would be cool if they offered a 3 channel variant. 6 3 3 and/or a 6/6 dual channel. For 6/6 sft40/w1 one channel and 2700K 219b one channel.
There is no muggle mode, but you can click 10 times (10c) to go to simple mode, it's the equivalent. (10h) puts you back in advanced mode.
Simple mode is too bright default wise. It's a lot of messing about
Hi, is there a discount code available for the light?
Nope sorry
I had just about decided on a flashlight..then i found HANK WANG....FUUUUUUCK
very nice light! I just got the d4v2 in all copper and finished reviewing it. Love these different light options.
Very good video! I got my Noctigon K9.3 yesterday and I love it. Is there a possibility to enable SOS-Mode? My flashlight came without it. After Beacon it goes straight to Batt-Check.
I think it is disabled on the K9.3
I think you should add a new segment called the "Uber eats beacon". Set camera on tripod and walked like 100 meters out or so and shine it into the sky and see how high the beam goes up. The Uber eats reference is a meme from r/flashlight where the driver found the customer by following his k1 beam into the sky . But I'm sure you already know that
Tried it, the camera doesn't really pick the beam up without a higher iso.
First: Great vid as always! Funky flashlight. But - I'm not quite sure who's buying? By the way - I like dangerous places 👁️

Hmmmm, nice but for the price v’s performance I still prefer my astrolux EC03 I think.
This has a far nicer tint, more throw, shorter length, better UI, RGB LED's, more power and a second flashlight built in!
Yeah granted it’s a nice customisable torch but I only paid £35 with one of your discount codes for the EC03 so you can see where I’m coming from 😉
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i dont like the donut circles or holes the noctigon has and the EC03 not
@flashaholic Your video of the EC03 with a discount code reignited my passion for flashlights. Nice to see it compared favorably in term of beam shot.
I would get this light in e21a 4500k ch. 1 and e21a 2700k ch. 2 but not a stock option for ch. 2. Maybe Hank could custom it though.
He usually can
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV yah.
@@lightweaverx4381 Tbh there only seems to be 219B 4500K that everyone seems to like. Rarely used any more.
Nice video and music. No one like you measure candela and output.

They do have many many uses. Map reading, voltage check, flashlight location, display uses, flashing red warning light.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV 👌
You can turn them off if you prefer, except for two in the button.
They are great for moodlighting on a shelf etc.
This is procuring my curiosity way to much hope the heads not like a satellite dish compared to the handle
Finally an astrolux EC03 killer but when i noticed price i wasn't happy. Probably if he could make it cheaper without all there colour led and channel. 2 led what are in my opinion useles there.
Cheaper without the aux and second channel is the EC03.
Probably SST-20 5000K on ch1
219B 2700K on ch2
Something's wrong with the Lumintop in the school field, that's definitely not Turbo.
Yup the Lumintop button up to its usual tricks
You can’t beat the Astrolux ec03 for the money. About a $40 flashlight in comparison to the other 3 which are near $100 or more yet when you compare beam shots it looks as, or near as, bright as the others. Definitely brighter than the Noctigon.
