i no longer have my AZ (truck license in Ontario ca) i let it lapse when i became a pilot, but i love to see REAL truckers who take care of their equipment like you do Mike. love the videos
Keeping one clean and polished is a full-time job in itself.......it's a satisfying feeling, sitting at home on the weekend knowing your truck is clean, meaning, ya got the weekend off from cleaning it👍👍
Always spent countless hours with my ocd trying to keep my truck perfect and it takes a lot. Pride in your ride. Only a couple hours north. If i was a little closer id put in an application there
Just ordered me some truckin gear!! Couldn't help myself once I got on the website!!! Ordered me a long sleeve for spring and short sleeve for summer time!! Can't wait for either to come get rid of this cold nasty weather.
Hey, BostonTrucker...You've had several other "ride-along", "come with me I'll show you how it's done" video (all of 'em great, BTW), but this time, you out-did yourself! You covered everything, and did so with "heart-and-soul"...beautiful. Through it all, I kept nodding my head up-and-down ("yes"), and couldn't keep that smile off my face!! Thanks, Mike...
ive told people on other yt channels if they wanna know how to keep a truck clean 2 check out the bt because he will show u how 2 do it and do it right.
What’s the best way to get into the end dump business? Got my Cdl in January and have been driving a dump truck for 7 months now. Love all of your videos keep ‘em comin👍🏾
Wishful greetings from *On The Big Road* here at the *Little Sister's Truck Wash* in Barstow, California. From The "one" Weather Man. Back out, readin' the mail....
I have wanted to pull a dump trailer since before I even got my cdl. Unfortunately there are very few people in my are that use them other than farms. The few that haul dock and sand and all that never have an opening
Reason for putting the truck in gear to turn PTO on? In Australia we just hold the clutch down while turning on the PTO with our truck and dogs (tipper and tipper trailer)
@@TheBostonTrucker usually when it grinds out the clutch down even harder then normal and it’ll engage without grinding give that a try 🤙🏼 love your vids to
Found one of the other trailers making the merge from 2 to 128 heading south Wednesday morning the 5th about 10 ish. Driver was sporting a beard. Was heading to JP VA for an inspection of body cavity. Has that McDonalds opened up yet at that 27 intersection? I live up the street in Burlington. Do you ever drop a load at Perkins in Burlington? Keep trucking. Traffic is coming back with the idiots behind the wheel too. Good luck
Hello Wayne, hope all went well with your inspection. Bearded driver's name is Jeff, he's new here and is doing well. We don't go to Perkins and I'm not sure about the McDs. Thanks for checking in.
Love the video Mike! I've been following you for some time, just got my CDL a few months ago. I see that you do the same thing I figured out when I was younger, in the yard, putting the truck in gear before flipping the PTO on. That makes me feel good about my little habit haha.
Thank you very much Tommy, happy to have you on board! I learned to put it in gear first from another TH-camr who explained it keeps the PTO from grinding. See you out there!
Did you ever try TC Lando's in Acton for a sub? You can not eat the entire thing it is so big. Just the north side of rt 111 in that plaza. 297 main st
I'm speechless, lol nah not really Great video, loved it and I can't imagine driving in traffic all day, I do drive in traffic but not all day week in week out So good to see the other side of the world and things are still ticking along okay in the U.S. with covid and rest of the dramas As we say in Australia "keep the dream alive" Great video and thank you
It's hard to avoid traffic in the USA. I've driven all over this country and those 4 wheelers always seem to find us big trucks. Someday I'll come down under to get away from them. 😉
Finally got the mud flaps put in for the trailer. Thumbs up as well keep the truck and trailer clean Boston Trucker. Have you driven any of the new wheel loaders yet like the Koma 470?
He makes the rest of us out here trucking in Boston stay on our cleaning game for sure ! 98% of the time I see him trucking down Rte. 2 the KW is shining !
Thanks for the vid, you are definitely a Professional, I pulled a dump bucket for many years hauling out of the strip mines and this is just my 2 cents worth there is never any reason to have air ride on a dump trailer, tractor yes not trailer again my opinion, 43 years of truck driving. I enjoy your videos Mike. The company you work for is lucky to have you!! Thanks for sharing and teaching.
Thank you very much! They show their appreciation all the time.
This is the kind of video I really enjoy. Truck looks great and I know what's involved in keeping that way. Great video Mike, thanks!!

Thank you very much I appreciate you saying this.
There aren’t many drivers left like you my man. Love the pride you take in your truck and job! I would hire you on the spot lol
I appreciate that
I Love the pride you take in your truck. Non truck driver here. I’ve never seen someone wash a tractor by hand. God bless ya and be safe out there

End dump trailer was the second job I had when I started 23 year ago in the NY/NJ area. I like watching your videos to bring back the memories.
Must be a good company - gave you a sweet truck and trailer knowing that you put in the effort to keep it shining like new. Full time job on it's own.
Great people to work with and for.

Nice trailer, I remember when we had Aluminum East end dumps, boss got them for hauling batch plant, cinder ate them up though!
I hauled ash in the beginning of my dump truck career in aluminum trailers, stuff was nasty, totally trashed the trailers.
Have a great weekend buddy!!
Thank you 😊

Beautiful truck. Do you get paid by the hour ? To drive your own truck? Or bye the load.
Great videos you have.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH
You need to have the tailgate switch and air bag switch in cab so you don’t have to get out
I actually have the switches in cab just never swapped them over.
Reason for putting the truck in gear to turn PTO on? In Australia we just hold the clutch down while turning on the PTO with our truck and dogs (tipper and tipper trailer)
Because my PTO has a slight grind when I only put the clutch in and I saw another guy in a TH-cam video do it and it works.

Nice rig I’m in ct we own a trucking company to I really like how clean u keep ur equipment
Can you please do another one I’m thinking about driving endump with my brother
Yes
Finally got the mud flaps put in for the trailer. Thumbs up as well keep the truck and trailer clean Boston Trucker.
Have you driven any of the new wheel loaders yet like the Koma 470?
Yes thank you finally got it on there. Yes I've driven the 470, it's really nice, loads my truck in 4 buckets.
That trailer is so shiny it looked like a flatbed in the thumbnail
That's funny! Thank you!
Can u haul dry van trailer with that truck? Or u gotta take the remove the PTO?
Definitely can haul any trailer.
I still get nervous when I have to dump ...
If you're not a little nervous, then you're doing it wrong.
@@TheBostonTrucker I need to Come out with you for a week ...:)
Why can't you operate the tail gate from inside the truck? And dumping the bags to tip? Done differently everywhere I guess
I could if I had the switches connected.
Can you put the pto in with the truck in neutral and the clutch in?
Yes you can, it just makes a tiny grind if you don't put it in gear first but I think that's how most people do it.
I'm surprised you don't have a custom knob for your shifter.
I had a chrome shift knob but it started peeling. I also don't like the tall shifters.
Ok I want to see more of that super dog
It's all over my page!
is your truck a Kenworth W900? my brother owns Reefer one..😍
Yes it is.
What do bulk haulers in your area make if your a o/o?
How do you get your loads
We haul for ourselves off our own jobs.

Thank you 😊
What happened to that beautiful bulldog bro?
Nothing happened to it we still run it.
@@TheBostonTrucker that is one sweet peice of old iron
What's the pay per load with kind of dump truck?
Right! Let’s talk money.
Nice video! Stupid question, every time you dump the trailer do you keep the trailer brake on?
No. I have all the brakes released except I'm holding the hand brake down until I'm ready to roll forward.
@@TheBostonTrucker ok thanks!
Why is it important to drop the air suspension before you dump
Otherwise it's like balancing 33 tons on balloons, one pops and it's going over.
Like you kenworth w900L
Thanks a lot! ☺️👍
I work off 27 love Bueno y sano but sorrentos is a no no lol 😆
