Normally I wouldn't waste time probing a spot like this (unless you see indications of glass) becuase of the unknown depth and location of stuff would be too hard to get to that it wouldn't be worthwhile. However, if there is an embankment to the swamp from the foundation I'd check that and would use a metal detector, if there are no signs of surface metal or glass, to see if there is any layer of metal there. Also check any old roads or cart paths that could have led to the foundation. Remember, that there may not be a dump close by, since the original owners may have carted their stuff somewhere else. I think your best bet is to explore the surrounding areas including field boundaries and old paths. Also if you have a metal detector you could come across a trash pit with metal that is bound to contain some glass and possibly bottles.
Interesting video ✌️
That was really great information. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hello Cam ❤👍👋👋
Hi
Any advice on probing/getting bottles out of swamps? I've got a circa 1850s stone foundation with a swamp 10 feet behind it, but it looks pretty deep
