I'm not in the military, but I still found this video very helpful to pack my bug out bag. Tysvm for sharing this with us and TYSVM FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY! 🇺🇲🙏🏼🤗💙
Hi! Thank you so much for this video. Do we have to pack both our duffles and ruck ? How would you recommend us to pack in the three before leaving to CST?
Yes, I believe I packed my ruck with my immediate field packing list and then the duffel bags were used as A and B bags (for the refit days after each FTX). I also carried my assault pack as a carry on for the flight. It had my duty uniform and a complete set of PTs, just in case the flight lost my bags or my bags were delayed. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
Is this guy an officer or something? He has just the bare minimum and when I was in our unit sop required us to carry everything and the kitchen sink. That leads me to believe he has some level of rank where the unit FTX sop doesn't apply to him, or maybe his unit just uses common sense and doesn't require everyone to carry extra crap they won't use. Or maybe I've just been out a while and the army gained some common sense branch wide and started packing only what they need vs packing for extra weight and only using around 40% of your actual kit. I remember when I was in the officers usually carried the least amount of weight and had the enlisted guys carry the rest, have things changed since I retired and they gained common sense?
It's for CST, Cadet Summer Training, or ROTC Advanced Camp. But, you just couldn't resist making it about officer vs enlisted in a TOE unit, could you! Feckin' douche nozzle!
⚡️Check the description to access my camp cheat sheets. Let me know if you have any issues, good luck at camp!!
