    I've driven through here several time before construction started. In 2001 I did it at night with a transport truck about 3 feet from my tail end. I thought I was going to die.

    They really can build roads there! Drove there 4 times between 2008 and 2014, would love to do it again when work is finished, but it is a long way from Norway. Thanks for the update!

    Thanks for those progress videos on that huge highway improvement construction job! ... in the previous video, you noted the difference btw cement and concrete. In this video, you used the word 'cement' when you meant 'concrete'. And i believe the paving you noted, in the west-bound lanes, is asphalt, not concrete - right?? Not many highways in canada are paved with concrete anymore -- much more expensive than asphalt, although more durable. Lkg fwd to your next vid. Cheers!!

    What are the big white sheets. What can you tell us about them?

    • @allaboutthedrive3826
      @allaboutthedrive3826  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe you are talking about the ones near the end. The are sheets to stop rock falling and to stop erosion there I believe.

    What’s a improvement over the old road. For this construction project where is base camp located ?

    • @allaboutthedrive3826
      @allaboutthedrive3826  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you watch my very first video on this project you will see what the old road was like. You will also see the progress that has been made. As for base camp. I’m it is located at the top of the hill on the east side of Golden BC.

    As you are travelling, can you tell us where the old road is located in relation to the new pavement? It looks like some of it might be on the left but a much smaller road.

    • @allaboutthedrive3826
      @allaboutthedrive3826  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes if heading east you can still see where parts of the old single lane hwy was.
