Hey man, incredibly lucid presentation. I see this channel is quite new but keep doing what you do, you're definitely bringing something fresh to the table and you'll find your audience. Best

Amazing tutorial,Can flutter_bloc package together with Shared Preferences be able to accomplish that task?

Thanks. I'm sure it can. I plan to dive into flutter_bloc in the near future and explore the possibilities.

Instead of provider cant we use dependency injection framework like get it? will it be more loosely coupled app?

Andy, I'd like to ask a question about your use of Consumer. Rather than using Consumer to bring your dependency injection level below the ChangeNotifierProvider, wouldn't you be able to simply lift ChangeNotifierProvider up by wrapping MyApp with ChangeNotifierProvider? Was there a specific performance/stability reason why you didn't do that? I do that all the time and it doesn't seem to cause any issues.

Thanks very much for your encouragement. I'm having fun so far and having great conversations with like minded people like yourself. I don't see any down side to using the higher wrap for ChangeNotifierProvider. I actually did just that in the original draft of the video, but got a question on using Consumer before I did the final recording so I took the golden opportunity to demonstrate that feature. I think it's a matter of preference.

@@andyjulow4388 Do you think you could do a complex app using bloc, provider and sqflite, there are a couple of tuts that show complex firebase apps, but nothing for sqflite that goes beyond a basic one page todo app, i am trying to make a workout app, but it's getting quite complex, i used scopedmodel as state management and would like to maybe change to bloc and provider, also I don't quite understand how to use joins to use info from one table to another. And even though I have added a timer, it stops counting when the screen times out. I am getting stuck and can't really find a well explained tutorial to help me, or even any that cover such things.
