Winter Camping Adventure in our SUV Tiny Camper at Porteau Cove Provincial Park

We start off every camping trip preparing food and packing the camper. Because we camp a lot, packing for our road trips is pretty simple. Then, we're ready to hit the road in our Honda Pilot micro camper! Today, we're going up the Sea to Sky highway for some winter camping near Squamish, British Columbia. The Squamish River Valley and Howe Sound area are surrounded by mountains and amazing views - a perfect winter camping location!
In the summer, Porteau Cove Provincial Park, located between Vancouver and Squamish, is near impossible to get into, with reservations needed 4 months in advance, especially for the prized waterfront spots. But we were able to get amazing camping spots in the park, without paying the additional reservation fee, just by driving up and camping there during the winter season.
