i cant believe goresh wants more on this equip for a unit that is the number 2 spot on the best team in the game. I dont even understand why hes getting one right now. should have been tag blues/gogeta blue/purple ui/red ui/purple rose/revival gohan. Literally any of those i would be actually be happy for.
im a big OP fan and actually was someone who thought he was top 10 on release, but he was definitely undertuned and needed more disrupt or bulk post transformation and thats become clear as time has gone on. He is carried by his ridiculous team, but this allows him to be much more viable on alternative teams like movies
The grill master easily gets grilled by Tag SSB Goku & Vegeta who are 2 years old even after the equip. That's how bad he is. He now maybe the worst LF of 2023. I used 3x zenkai buffed, Godly Plat of OP and Godly Plat Sagas from the movie and Godly Piccolo fused with kami. I am sorry but I noticed no change.

Nah, i’m seeing huge differences. My OP is able to pop gauge 100% of the time without dying, and if you have a problem with that tag just use a YEL unit like gammas since you’re running movies

Im hoping goresh explains the difference between "base" health, "base" strike and blast, and "pure" health and "pure" strike and blast... 3 years into the game and I still don't know ...😅
So pure buffs just refer to your stats after factoring z abilities and other equips. Base refers to buffs to your base stats which just means your stats not including soul boost, equipments, and arts boost

@@danielrobinson7978no they are not the same for example say you had 10k strike and 5k was from soul boost you would have 5k base strike and if you have an equip that gives 10% base strike that would be 500 base strike. When you add them together after equips that would be 10,500.
If it’s a pure that 10% is instead applied to 10k which is 1k so you would have 11k strike with pure.

I'm 95% sure pure strike/blast attack just directly boosts your damage. Inversely, pure defense boosts directly reduces the damage your opponents deal.
The "how damage works" article in the Dragon Ball Legends Gamepress shows that base stats don't scale linearly with damage output at all; this is also why almost every unit naturally has higher attack stats than defense stats, since the formula needs you to have 120% higher attack than your opponent's defense to deal 100% damage. So pure attack and defense boosts are more valuable when you are already stacking a ton of Z/Zenkai/LL Ability buffs to boost your base stats sky high.

They should make revival characters like ginyu, what is this shit; orange piccolo deserved more, is the first new form of piccolo in years and after shafting the power awekening version, they continuded with orange and even his plat.

In this pvp session Goresh found a rare breed of DBL players: average co-op fans. Their natural habitat is, as their name suggests, co-op and occasions where they play pvp are very rare because they prefer to ruin co-op with their supreme yellow extreme Piccolo & green hero Zarbon combo instead

I got lucky on this eq got 1st red slot in about ~ 200 energy and all red slot in 30 erazers but idk i find it simple meh. It will be meh pretty soon i wish they made it a bit stronger to be future proof

Edit: 23:35 If you meant "heal up a little bit" via Pan's main, she does not restore health through her main ability. Only after an enemy attack is over.

In other words pure stats are much stronger than base stats, so any equipment that says something like " +10.00% special move damage or +6.00% to strike attack per regen battle member ", is going to deal much more heavy damage than equipment's like +25.00% to base strike or blast attack.
Base stats give smaller boosts to damage/defense the higher you stack them. See the "How Damage Works" article in the Dragon Ball Legends Gamepress to see the exact damage formula.
At the same time, pure stat buffs work like the buffs you see in unique abilities and such, directly boosting damage.
So once you've already stacked a bunch of +40%s to base stats via Z/Zenkai/LL Abilities, pure stat buffs became a lot more valuable. If you already have a unit Zenkai Ability buffed, for example, then a +10% pure Strike Attack buff will increase your damage way more than slapping on another +30% base Strike Attack equip.
