8. BENCH SLOPE ANGLE ( FACE ANGLE)-
It is an inclination of a bench face with the horizontal plane.
9. ANGLE OF REPOSE-
It is the maximum slope at which a pile of loose material will stand without sliding.
10. BANK WIDTH-
It is the horizontal projection of the slope face.
11. BERM-
Heaps of broken Rock materials created along the crest to protect the operating equipment from falling lumps of ground.
12. CUT-
It is the parallel width which is being extracted from the working bench.
13. WORKING BENCH WIDTH-
It is the uncovered distance between the crest and freshly placed Toe after the cut has made.
14. CATCH BENCH-
It is a bench which is generated after the removal of cut.
15. OVERALL SLOPE ANGLE-
It is an inclination of a plane (A plane joining the crest of topmost bench to the Toe of bottommost bench) with respect to the horizontal plane.
16. HAUL ROAD-

Best vedio hai ye
Glad to hear that my video is helpful for you😊
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
1. Can you explain CUT again
2. You said the as the Mining life comes to an end the Overall Pit slope angle becomes stiffer means what? does the angle increases
(60 - 70 deg ) or is it decreased (70 -60-50 deg)
what is windrow?

Sir aur video kab aaega
First of all thank you for your presence in TMA!
I will upload very Soon. So you have to stay in touch with TMA. & Press bell icon. TMA will let you know once the upload is complete.😊
IMO the background music is not required. I felt that it was distracting and was affecting concentration. Studying requires a bit of sincerity and effort so you don't have to try to make it very interesting.
But if u do plan to have a bg music, ensure that its volume is very slow and does not affect concentration.
Sir what is angle of repose please say in words I didn't understand please sir.
Suppose you have two books. One book is smaller than other. Now,put smaller book just above the long one & from any side raise your last book gradually at some angle from the horizontal, after a while you will se the smaller book slipped down.
Right?
In the same way if we put loose material one over the other, Then after a while material will start slide down. Due to this sliding, person may face an accident.
So how can we stop such type of sliding?
So there is a term "Angle of repose"
Angle of repose is that steepest angle to the horizontal plane at which a sloping surface formed of loose material is stable.
I hope you understand!
Sir
Or episode upload kijiye
Plz sir
Sir please can you sent notes
Sir Hindi me pdf ho to please de do 🙏🙏🙏 ap ke sabhi videos ko like and share krenge please sir reply dena hm wait krenge
Background music is very high.
Thanks for your precious feedback.
I'll definitely try to avoid background music in the forthcoming videos.
Aap na angle of repose to bataya hi nhi
Bhaai I have doubt
Can u please help me on solving it
Sure Shivam
Tell me exactly what do you wanna know?
Actually I m in 1st year of mining engineering and I m preparing for gate unfortunately I don't have access to coaching nd I'm face problems in preparation as in I don't know what are base material form where I have to start my preparation and also I face problem in solving numericals how can I cope up with these problem please guide me bhaai
Shivam
Firstly thanks for your valuable question. I can understand it's a serious problem for every Mining students who are studying from other than IIT/NIT. But Don't worry !let me clear your doubts
So to crack any exam firstly we should know the paper pattern and syllabus of the examination.
And how can we get the same?
Ans. Is last year question paper
So step 1) analysis last 10 years question paper of gate Mining engineering
Now you analysed question papers & know which sections are important for the examination.
Like mine ventilation, mine methods, rock mechanics, engineering mechanics, mine environment, mine machinery and many more...
Now if you aren't familiar with these subjects, then no worry
You said you're a 1st-year student, then you definitely know about engineering chemistry, engineering mechanics and engg math
Now you have to see which type questions are asked in the last few years from engineering chemistry sections, engineering mechanics sections as well as engineering math sections. & prepare only those subjects, which were asked in the examination as well as in your current semester. Don't need to be Panic.Rest subjects you can prepare in next semester.
So the bottom line is "prepare those subjects which are in your current sem. Don't bother for others.
I hope it will help you.
If any further query you can ask, I'm always available to assist you
Thanks and stay connected with TMA'S family
