      You can use almond Milk/Condensed milk/aquafaba as a substitute for egg whites. Just adjust the quantities of sugar of you're housing Condensed milk.

    Tried this today with aquafaba. It was very soggy..edges were not crisp only top and bottom and middle was undercooked

      Aquafaba I added around 85 gms, could be too much for the recipe or I should have added flour more. Pls advise. Thanks

      @@jennifersimon1472 Well, I haven't tried this recipe with Aquafaba before, but if you're using it, there are certain points we should keep in mind. Firstly the bowls that you're using to whip up the Aquafaba mixture should be thoroughly clean, no amount of oil should be present, otherwise it won't whip up properly. Secondly, when using Aquafaba always use a pinch of Cream of Tartar to stabilize it. Thirdly, Since you're substituting egg whites, you can add a pinch of baking powder for leavening. And make sure the quantities are okay. Usually when using Aquafaba, i would use 3/4 portion of it for 1 portion of dry flour mixture. So, if my almond meal+flour mixture is 90 grams, I would use approx 66grams of Aquafaba.
