When I look at everything that has been left behind in all the abandoned homes it definitely shows me that non of this stuff we value in life is coming with us.🙏🙏🙏😃👍👍

Sad explore Matt and really makes me think of our immortality And how life is really short indeed. This farmhouse I'm sure was beautiful back in the day and now nature is claiming it back again. Cheers Matt.

The spirit may come from 1600's , land before any property erected. (If house younger) . Lovely find. Enjoyed being shown around the quaint little house. Many thanks. Look forward to next week. Hope pup not driving you mad. 😊 He your new best buddie.

You are so respectful Matt of everything. And are serious about how you explore and everything. Not at all like so many of the explorers out there I have seen. They don't act serious or anything. You are one of the best.

What a beautiful house with stunning views ❤The yellow paper item 5-13 is the backing paper from a roll of 120 medium format colour film , still used by some professionals and was the go to format for the hobby photographer in the 50’s - 70’s before 35mm became popular. The bars on the ceiling (10.13)I would have thought would be for hanging meat and herbs the photo at 11.27 is just a portrait, pretty certain it’s not a post mortem photo which were generally Victorian. At 13.17 the photo of men in uniform looks like the men were in the RAF @ 18.50 the military photo is from the 1st world war you can tell this by the fact that they are wearing putties from the knee down to the shoe from WW2 to present date the putties are just worn around the ankles. Nice explore Matt stay safe ❤

Your best explore yet. Love the history of this place. The item you said was either a kettle or a teapot was actually what was known as a singing kettle. Used on a gas stove. The wedding photo looks like it was a 1950's wedding. Loved this so much.

Those photographs you showed were Victorian and when someone died they were staged and then photos taken as a remembrance since they did not have a regular camera or cell phone camera. It is kind of yucky to us today but if you were grieving back then ……. Thanks for these explores you give us. Hugs from the usa

The pictures of the dead are called Memento Mori, and they were popular in Victorian times when photography was in its infancy, the picture of the girl is about 1950, so its too modern for that, the Victorians only did it if there were no likenesses of the person in life.
