I prefer the chanting too tbh, but since a lot of people asked for a version without chanting, I thought this the perfect opportunity to try my hand at recreating it ;)
Alright, so this is a version without chanting, and I also decided to go with an Electric Guitar as the lead at 2:08 to clearly differentiate it from the original. It's sadly also missing the Guitar solo (since that would've taken me another 3-4 days to recreate), but it's pretty much done! Let me know what you guys think! ;)

Like at 1:48 there's a reprisal from Kakarot vs Broly, God I love all the leitmotifs in this sound track, Sumitomo really hit it out of the park with this one...minus the ring announcer, but hey that's what we have you for, right? lol

The beginning sounds a LOT like Bruce Faulconer's track. Did Sumitomo get inspired to incorporate BOTH the American and Japanese scores into the soundtrack? That's SICK!
I've heard a lot of Faulconer tracks, and I can tell you, no. There isn't a single track that sounds like this one, this is just your typical Sumitomo style, except this time he went with chants :)

What I'm saying is that when I heard the first few seconds of this theme, my mind gets transported to the ENGLISH Dub of DBZ back in the days with Faulconer music. Nothing Sumitomo does, ever reminds me of the unique Kikuchi style. Kikuchi has that weird...chinese martial arts / western cowboy epic saga thing I still can't find even in Sumitomo. 0:01 to 0:58 reminds me of Gohan fighting Super Buu (Faulconer version) for some reason. Then from 1:00 onwards is the usual regular Sumitomo epic score. I dunno. My mind is just wired so that whenever I hear electronic sounds, electric guitar and bass in DBZ I relate it back to Faulconer.
Oh I see, well, it is a slightly different approach than his usual style, but it's mostly because the fight between Broly and Gogeta was made to be an epic one, that's when you know E. Guitars can do the scene justice, and that's probs why it reminds you of Faulconer (since Gogeta and Broly's dub themes had E. Guitars too)
Fun Fact: The composer originally didn't intend on adding the chanting until before he went to a Dragon Ball super Show with people chanting during MUI fighting Jiren
