Teddy

Teddy is a 4 yr old draft cross gelding, standing at 15.3 hh. Teddy is very well broke to ride and drive! He is an absolute doll, he is safe, gentle and quiet! He has the greatest personality and is one of the smartest horses I have come across! We have had teddy for almost a year, and we have had so much fun with him! Any level of rider can ride him! We have had complete beginners on him, he is a great confidence builder! He also has the buttons and rides around like a quarter horse making a great match for even experienced riders. Teddy loves to be turned out, and he will walk right up to you when it is time to go inside! He is super easy to catch!
We have had teddy on the trails! He will lead, follow or ride in the middle. Teddy crosses creeks, steps over logs, and doesn’t mind making new trails! You can open and close gates on him! I have rode teddy all over our farm and woods bridless too! Teddy is the same horse every day, he will be the same horse whether you ride him once a week or once a a month.
Teddy will pick up both leads! He has an amazing walk, trot, canter that is very easy and fun to sit to! He will back up and stop very nicely! He will neck rein or direct rein. He also moves off of leg pressure and rides with no bridle! Teddy also lays down by tapping on his leg, and he sits up as well! He is not scared of tarps or bouncy balls! Teddy is used to dogs running around as well!
Teddy also drives! We have drove him on the road. He is traffic safe and 100% sound! Teddy drives single and double. He has a nice slow trot making for peaceful Sunday afternoon drives!
