I've been through CBT and EMDR to get me out of crisis and effectively treat traumas, but now it's certain to say my prosocial psychopathy fixates me into suicidality. I'm looking for something to treat my lack of compassion, my lack of empathic concern. CFT looks promising!

thanks for this,i`m doing a cbt course and this was mentioned earlier, but it really was`nt in much detail, they just gave a couple of examples of compassion and didnt say anything about who came up with the technique or when it was developed,i feel a bit critical of the class tbh, I liked what you said about writing a compassionate letter to yourself and I think i will mention it in next weeks class.

Thanks for this video Holly! This was such an informative webinar. I particularly enjoyed the way you presented the CFT Formulations with practical case studies. Keep up the good work. :)

Hey Holly, thanks for this video! I landed an interview in a complex trauma team and this explanation comes in handy to put a lot of concepts in order. Thank you very much, keep up the great content.

    Hello All,
I have CPTSD and no diagnosis, and feel I really need CFT / CMT and perhaps EMDR via NHS. What’s the best way to do this. I am on with secondary services.

Hi - thanks for your comment :) the only advice I can give is to speak to your care coordinator or a member of the team you’re under, if not, your GP. Best of luck :)
