Hey mate, loved this one as well.
But this time for some reason unknown to me as well loved the ICF actions more than LHB.
May be got nostalgic. Surprised to see Himgiri Express with P-7. Reminded me of the days when it used to be hauled with diesel locos. I have seen this train many a times with EMD, twice with Twin EMD. Missed that beast mode of Himgiri. A train which was always dirty but ripped tracks with EMDs.

I like the descriptions " high speed" " lightning" etc. I guess when people saw a motor car for the first time they would have said the same things. 71 years should have been enough for India to develop modernised railway like Singapore, Japan, Korea and even China. What wrecked India was copying a Soviet style economy, a pseudo Soviet government and total lack of vision resulting in a railway that is unsafe, primitive (toilet landing on rail tracks and often no water in the toilets) and speeds that are best described as fast crawls. Hey don't need to like me or my comments- just try and prove what I say is wrong.
