This is close to what I was looking for, but either you didn’t clean the surfaces where the anodes went on the strut and the prop or didn’t show that.

How do you do the report? Do you need to a camera to show proof or someone will check after you?

I actually do show the footage to clients afterwards. Technology is so convenient now I just text the video to them after the dive (if they have iphone of course)

Not hard at all, find a local company near you to work under. Go out on your own when you have gained the knowledge, it’s pretty straightforward work

How do you make sure no one turns on the boat engine while your working on it

On a boat this small, you just tell the owner or make sure no one will be on board. On larger vessels like ships, tour the engine room with the engineer and make sure everything is tagged and locked out.

Sorry, you did scrape them, but didn’t get them with a wire brush or maybe a Scotch Brite pad or wet and dry sandpaper. I have a prop zinc that is different from what you showed and cannot get any diver, so far, to clean the small area where it goes and consequently have one dead propellor blade.

I scraped the locations with a stainless wire brush @1:10 in my experience, you always want good metal to metal contact for the best connection but unless the surface completely encrusted or painted over and allowing no metal to metal contact, there will be some residual protection. I don’t know the specifics but you may want to have a marine electrician take a look. Props actually take quite a while to break down on their own. Every diver should always wire brush or use a stripping pad to get the surface down to bare metal before installing any anodes. Feel free to send me an email if you need any assistance. Sounds like 1970's porn music. That's what my friend said.
