I'm just not going to be buying this as a duluxe, it's just not worth it. I preordered Zeb today because it is a larger figure with more weapons etc. But seriously, this is Hasbro's Fett Tax. It has no world building items at all. Even Sabine with her crazy paint deco, had a loth cat and shoulder bag. This only gets flame effects? Shae Vizla has as much stuff on her car bubble as this and is a standard release. This is just plain wrong from Hasbro.
lol 😂 “spreading out the accessories……as far as possible….to try to justify deluxe….” 😂😂😂 Kiwi man, this is by far my favorite Star Wars TVC channel, great reviews and it comes with humor 👍, great job.
I find it so much easier to open a deluxe figure (no guilt!) 😂 PS I use 'Revel Painta Clean' to remove unwanted paint - it won't effect the colour of plastic if used in small amounts and wiped off throughly. It's made for cleaning brushes but does a nice job of removing paint from figures too.
The deluxe TVC end up being cheaper for me because I usually only get one. With carded figures I buy at least two. I might get an extra Jango to open because it's so cool.
I haven’t seen this in the USA yet. I have the jango fett that his head comes off. I got Krrsantan for $13 or $14 USD on clearance. It was cool that one comes with additional hands.
I'll admit the photos look really good on the box but my thing is that you know Hasbro and the way sometimes there paint is applied and you can't tell what your going to get but with the bubble and card back you can see what your buying honestly I bought 2 because it really is an awesome figure and their is no way that's worth the deluxe price but hey we gotta do what we gotta do great video brother keep up the great work
Great review Jason. On the POTJ first look Jango I never understood why you would want to launch flames as a projectile from the flamethrower anyway, lol.

Man the paint issue on the face is a huge downside, and the holsters are a big red flag for me, that just isn't okay.. we can 3d print better, i got some removable jango piece i might be able to combine or mod.. but i really shouldn't have to.. for a deluxe figure. Big flame effect is a waste too like 5% of people who buy it, will end up displaying it- Hasbro need to introduce their own flame 'holders' that go with their own display stands for these characters. Very disapointing i'll get a single one at retail when i see them on Amazon AU, and i wont get any others till he ends up on discount, old TVC version is superior but still far from a perfect Jango.
As much as I want this Jango and have him next to Tyranus, I couldn't bring myself to pick it up. And watching the QC dropping quite a bit since, it's honestly bad. I'm surprised that they went for this type of swap for the head and helmet. They did it well on Bo-Katan. They placed the joint far too low I think. I would expect Jango to have equal or better neck articulation than Vader because he needs the most as a sharpshooter and during flying poses. I think the biggest mistake is the design of the holsters. How can Cad Bane, Sabine, Bo-Katan and Pre Vizsla have adequate holsers but not Jango... Small details, I know. But they do matter. Jango could have benefitted from a standard carded release. There's not enough in this pack that makes it deluxe. They could have placed the flame effects behind the character in a separate tray like Dooku's Force Lightning hand and make it at the same price. But everything is accumulated at this point. Definitely bad, but definitely not up to the standards that we need to see.
I have no problem with deluxe figures I think the deluxe figures are really great to be honest with you and I don’t not mind paying full price for deluxe figures for what they are

picked up one today at a gamestop, it's not got any paint defects, but one of the jetpack effect parts does not fit in the jetpack, and it made me end up twisting the actual jetpack's PEG when I tried to push it in, so that sucks Also the TVC Boba Fett jetpack might work as the Kamino jetpack
Great review.. but we really have to show with our lack of purchase to hasbro that we won’t accept bare minimal for deluxe rates.. should have come with both jet packs at the very least and one other item.

All the collectors are so disappointed with this "deluxe" figure that they're only going to buy one at full price and then wait until he's on discount to get heaps more. That'll show Hasbro! 😂 Looking forward to getting mine soon (I hope).
I don't feel like this is a deluxe figure at all, but I am happy there is a new Jango. I just wish it didn't have the flamethrower gimmick, it doesn't look right. That and the suit is too purple rather than how it looked onscreen. At least I am happy with my Medicom 12" Jango figure I've had for ages, that's one of only two 12" figures I've kept.
Flame effects on gauntlets never look great (like the Rescue Set Mando), but otherwise, it's a pretty cool figure. It's cool you have a Medicom version. Cheers, Randy!

I like the colours, the silver looks good to me. The jetpack on mine is very loose and the paint on yours’ face shouldn’t have passed quality control. Overall, I feel there is a bit of hysteria out there over this. I’ve had a range of comments on my recent insta posts of my figure, one person saying it was a disgrace, an affront to Jango Fett…. Felt like saying ‘calm down mate’ but thought better of it 😂😂
Ha ha, calm down indeed! I think it's the perceived prize gouging that has people upset, which is fair enough. Like you, I was just excited to have a new version. Cheers
I haven't opened him yet, as my Prequel figures are in storage. He's definitely a future blog post, and I want to compare him to my VC 34, as back then I opened everything! Great video as always, and I think a Sand Wedge would be good for bushwhacking, LOL!
He looks good! I like the silvery paint. Nice likeness. I’d prefer figures like this to be carded, even if they cost the same as current deluxe box. Your old flamethrower Jango was not the preview toy. It was fun getting those back in the day. Enjoyed taking them to the office and having them discreetly placed on my desk. lol. Good times, Jason! The suit varies from blue to purple in the movie and media photos of the actual suit. It’s a hard color to get down.
