Hey, Mani: the pronounciation of granite is simply "granit", with a long a (not graneit)
Hei man, if you pass by near Ålesund area we can guide you to a couple of spots with a kind of Flatanger style (Beachen in Stryn and Valderøy near Ålesund) it deserves a visit ;)
Hey Mani. I am curious how your body is responding to all the driving, and what, if anything you are doing to combat soreness/muscle tightness. I find that long car rides make it feel especially hard for me to perform well climbing due to feeling so stiff.
When is a good season to rock climb in Norway?

Did you do any climbing in Sweden or Norway on your way to Flatanger? Or do you know any good crafs on the way with some routes 8a or harder?
I didn't climb in Sweden, there's lots of stuff around Gothenburg though. In Norway I checked out Hell which is excellent, did a super good 8a there, and there's more and harder stuff too. Around Oslo there seems to be lots too, lots of bouldering especially I think.

Are you travelling alone or are you with a friend? :) And do you have any tipps for guys who want to climb outside but have noone in the friends list who would join?
Maybe try joining a club? Or try my way. I've bought a harness for my friend who doesn't even climb and taught him how to belay.
Learn how to rope solo
best bet is always trying to find a local climbing (or alpine) club
