- AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi after taking oath as a Member of Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha expressed his solidarity towards the Palestine by saying ‘Jai Palestine’. Owaisi’s remark over Palestine sparked row in the Lower House when BJP MPs opposed the slogan.

But if they shouted Jai Shreeram while Owaisi was taking oath is unparliamentary and a violation of fundamental duties of a citizen. An MP should not violate the fundamental duties of a citizen but be a role model in it. If not they don't have right to demand the same from the ordinary citizens.
