      If you're still curious/want to know, I can explain what he was doing if you leave a timestamp

      @@Kurokubi can I use any piece of steel to make that?

    Magic sheepskin cleaning technique :
    Rather than manually scraping my hides, I'll lay my hides upside down on a flat surface and then use a pressure-washer to get them perfect in minutes. I'll then flip it over to gently pressure-wash the wool. This process cuts my hide cleaning times down dramatically !

      Sounds great, I have to try it! Rather inside some empty swimming pool :)

      i would prob give it try, i only have an electric 1750 psi pressure washer, would that be strong enough?

    Please make a video about "how to make a video about how to make a fleshing knife in 65 minutes in 6 minutes"
    Nice simple method though. Love the simplicity. Question though; what is the difference between this type of straight blade and the curved ones? Is one better than the other?

    Sure, I would have lit the forge and made one, but it would have taken 3 hours. Lol. Aside from my sarcasm (sorry bout that), what 'solution' do you use to set the hair for a hair on hide? I want to try a yearling deerskin rug. Thanks for the videos on tanning!

    great,if you can explain how to sharpen it ,it would be better,i dont understand why you choose those grinder to grind it...:) i used a bark scraper to flesh hide before

      I tried everything in my shop ;). You are right, the grinder didn‘t helped much.
      It would be probably better to sharpen next 30 minutes. But the point is it was a challenge for me. I wanted to be in time. And it works definitely better then the simple knife I used in previous video :) th-cam.com/video/U8AKsJGSC1c/w-d-xo.html

    What was the clay like material you used to hold the blade into the holes drilled into the handles?

    • @CheckboxChallenges
      @CheckboxChallenges  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      epoxy putty... I used it becasue of short hardening time
