Here in Pittsburgh, we had a couple of female teachers that were sexually assaulted towards the end of 2022, what does that tell you. It was totally different when I was in school. I'm 70. Back then parents were parents, not their kids best friends. We were taught to respect out elders. I had a friend in middle school in the 80's. Y'all and skinny with a chip on his shoulder. He had a problem with our history teacher who was about his size but in his late 50's. He was always trying to fight the teacher. One day it happened. He punched the teacher,the teacher punched him back. Desks go flying and they are going toe-to-toe and then he called our teacher a bitch. Our teacher lost it,picked him up,body slammed him on a desk and he has the wind knocked out of him and he was stunned. Teacher grabbed him by his hair and dragged him out of the class,kicked him in the ass and told him to take his ass to the office. My friend got suspended and the teacher was a hero. He never popped off to the teacher again. His daddy whipped his ass too when he got home.

I remember in the '80s when I was in high school there was an older lady that was a teacher she had done it for years and years and when she retired she would substitute sometimes so she was probably in her early '70s late '60s substituting and a young boy come up to her talking back at her desk and she told him to sit down and he pulled a knife on her and she knocked him out with her paddle and then looked at the other boys in the class and said hey boys take out the garbage lol

I've been in this situation and I'm in a wheelchair. It didn't end well. They didn't talk back that much after, but if they did, they did so from a distance. Respect my space. I became their favorite teacher by the end of the school year.
Great example: NOT. HES A TEACHER. HE should be calling the walking counselors or security or to the principals office. If he gets hit, the kid is put in ISS or jail or an alternative school, or expelled. The teacher also is there to set an example with his grammar. Teachers grammar sucks. Teachers should have the right to defend themselves against aggressive and unruly students. No way should they have to put up with being physically attacked by their own students and then have to defend themselves in court because the lame parents of these out of control kids will not teach them any kind of manners or respect. Here in Pittsburgh, we had a couple of female teachers that were sexually assaulted towards the end of 2022, what does that tell you. These children have no fear, no respect and don't know where a child's place is or how to stay in it. I was a school bus driver in the late 80's until 2001 and I told my kids 1 time, if you step to me like an adult, imma treat you like an adult in the street. I'll hit you back cause I'm not your mom's and CYS won't be looking for me. Never had any problems and some of my kids are in their 40's, see me and tell me they love me because I was the best. You couldn't pay me $1 million dollars to drive these kids across the street, I'm old, so I don't have time to waste in jail, I might not make it out.

It was totally different when I was in school. I'm 70. Back then parents were parents, not their kids best friends. We were taught to respect out elders. I had a friend in middle school in the 80's. Y'all and skinny with a chip on his shoulder. He had a problem with our history teacher who was about his size but in his late 50's. He was always trying to fight the teacher. One day it happened. He punched the teacher,the teacher punched him back. Desks go flying and they are going toe-to-toe and then he called our teacher a bitch. Our teacher lost it,picked him up,body slammed him on a desk and he has the wind knocked out of him and he was stunned. Teacher grabbed him by his hair and dragged him out of the class,kicked him in the ass and told him to take his ass to the office. My friend got suspended and the teacher was a hero. He never popped off to the teacher again. His daddy whipped his ass too when he got home.

I remember in the '80s when I was in high school there was an older lady that was a teacher she had done it for years and years and when she retired she would substitute sometimes so she was probably in her early '70s late '60s substituting and a young boy come up to her talking back at her desk and she told him to sit down and he pulled a knife on her and she knocked him out with her paddle and then looked at the other boys in the class and said hey boys take out the garbage lol

I've been in this situation and I'm in a wheelchair. It didn't end well. They didn't talk back that much after, but if they did, they did so from a distance. Respect my space. I became their favorite teacher by the end of the school year.
