I’m from Alabama! Living in California rn. And my god I miss my hometown so much. The weather gets extremely hot bcs of humidity especially in the summer. People are usually quite friendly and well mannered. Not the best paying jobs, but it’s manageable. Really good food and lots of it too 😂. Careful about tornadoes they can get very strong and big sometimes so yall may want to build a tornado shelter. The thunderstorms are so beautiful, very relaxing, I miss hearing the loud thunder and heavy rain, during the thunderstorms I like to stay in and rest watch movies and relax. You’ll definitely like the prices of stuff compared to New York. Highly recommend beach trips to Florida. And especially gulf shores/orange beach in Alabama. The beach is fun, and they have a bunch of things sort of like a boardwalk type thing around the beach with really good restaurants, a mini golf/ go cart track/ arcade all In 1 area forgot what the place is called, go to buckees gas station near the beach it’s awesome 👏 gift shops, a club/ concert venue area which have popular artists at performing from time to time. I hope you have fun over there (sure you will) I miss it so much.
