@@kkumar6845 It's almost impossible for us ordinary people to reach that feat - to die or to leave the body without damaging it.. I think that's what the yogis called 'mahasamadhi'.. I guess only truly enlightened people can do that like Osho or Yogananda..

@@kkumar6845 yes it is possible.. it's available to everyone..just be a witness to everything that happens to you.watch and watch with a lot of awareness.when you love love totally, when you hate hate totally be aware of everything that you do and everything that happens to you,do not resist anything...so when the time of death comes accept, smile, welcome it with a dance and a song.don't weep and cling to life.be grateful for it that life gave you the time to experience everything and now it's time to go.. that's how you die with awareness/meditation and you'll transcend.

You MUST first teach the hungry man how to feed himself and then lead him on the path of enlightenment. Go to the street where there are homeless people and go teach them meditation or how to tap into their divine consciousness or to achieve a state of no mind and you will sound like a fool.

The moment i dropped all this religious nonsense (and i say "moment" but were actually 10 most difficult years of my life), and clean myself from some of the conditioning, i became a rich guy in the sense that nothing was missing from me, i could now afford anything, i had the money. But then i became extremely sad seeing that have achieved all i wanted and yet something, more than ever, was missing. But i discovered Osho and a new life full of inner journeys started. All i want now is to meditate and discover my being, all that was missing was Myself. Dynamic Meditation opened some dimmensions of my life i never thought were existing. I'm surrounded by current or former Osho followers where I live and, though I'm not a guru-seeing type and am a bit young to have been part of its heyday, I am old enough to remember the colours of earth and sun orange, saffron and pink attire on our local streets into the mid-eighties. Even the Sanyassin tradespeople wore pink hardhats and orange overalls! Although I have never been a Sanyassin myself (I'm actually looking at this material because I'm doing literary research for something I'm writing), I have dabbled with and really benefited from some of the embodied meditations and danceforms associated with, or which came out of, the Osho movement. He really is like the kid in The Emperor's New Clothes - unapologetically speaking obvious, valuable and powerful truths that challenge existing beliefs.

@Nightingale Lightingale yes but how do you expect him to come to that realization if he is distracted by drugs? To reach that level of insight it requires a lot of meditation, which is basically impossible if your body is under such strong influences as alcohol. However I have seen yogis and bhikkhus smoke so I guess it's balance after all.

I have listened to all osho discourses start to finish both in hindi and English over the last 8 years.. His talks in hindi are more powerful because hindi was his mother tongue.
I must say i have never listened to a more wise man than osho. How can such a man even exist. So clear so relatable speaking out your heart. One need to have a lions heart to honestly listen to osho. Listening to osho itself is a meditation. To me he is Unmatched and unique in the last 5000 yrs history. He has spoken on all significant scriptures and saints in the eastern culture including lao tzu and sufis. Yoga, tantra, bhakti, zen. Such powerful insights he has given. And sucha magical voice. Only after listening to osho i could understand JK and alan watts. These 3 people i consider my great gurus. And osho is the guru of gurus.

To have over a hundred thousand books and to have read each one is a phenomenal feat. Osho was extremely wise also. But if you can stand above the mediocre, you are taken as a sage.

I don't feel rich all the time because in my country I'm average or less than average, but I don't fear having not enough food to eat, having no roof over my head, ability to support my family, etc. On a global level that's pretty rich.

There is a beautiful parable about “Living in Awareness” in the words of Jesus where he encourages people to live like a servant who is waiting for the return of his master. The servant is alert & still. His focus is consistent since he is contemplating the arrival of master. In that moment of waiting, his whole identity is revolving around the master. No other thought impulse has any place for him. He is consumed & absorbed. Attuned & aligned. We have to live like that. 🙂
