Shen Long is a mistranslated Shoryuken, specifically the English version using the Chinese name (Dragon Punch, or Shen Long)

1:42 well nowadays Sheng Long does exist in street fighter lore. He’s just not directly called Sheng Long, his name is Gouken and everything from his design, to his role in the story, to his victory quotes is tied to the sheng long myth. He is Sheng Long for real, the brother of Akuma, the master of Ryu and Ken, and you must defeat him to stand a chance.
