When La Di Da first came out, that's when I first found this awesome group. OF COURSE I had fun going back through and looking at their older mv's and they are really AWESOME! Can't help but like all of their music but I really think that La Di Da will always be my favorite, probably because I am a real creature of habit so the first impression really affects me a lot. Lemme tell you some info on them though. Yes, they are a 4th GEN and I think all 4th gen groups debuted from 2017-now. They debuted in 2019 and come from Yuehua Entertainment and I remember when I started stanning them I heard EVERGLOW has more international fans than domestic fans which is true. (There is a reason behind this too I believe) ...but just knowit gets challenging when idols come from a Chinese company or are Chinese and promote in Korea especially when the time comes for representing one's country. I think it's like underlying political/cultural reasons or sumn. For example, Yiren in this group is Chinese and something happened where Yiren(with Everglow) were at a fan event on January 2 to greet fans in Seoul. The greeting consisted of the members kneeling down to touch the floor with their foreheads in traditional Korean style. However, Yiren did a Chinese hand gesture (the fist and palm salute to express thanks and New Year greetings). It was quoted that "In Chinese culture kneeling down is seen as a servile gesture and is no longer considered appropriate. In South Korea, it remains in use as a way to greet others and offer thanks". So by her doing this it caused A LOT of backlash and ppl were telling her r@c!st remarks. It was baddddd. They have one more song before those two called "So bad" recommend that as well as I think it was their debut song. They do have a comeback this month too so it would be perfect for you to maybe start stanning them if you like them heehee. Anyways, EVERGLOW FOREVER LES GO!
