Your students must be so lucky to have you as a teacher. You are an amazing ambassador to sewing, and lifting spirit by keep learning and being positive in life.
Juliet, when you are drafting your patterns, what paper do you use? There are too many types on Amazon etc. Some are too thin then I used grease proof paper, which is great.
I use brown paper bags of which I've accumulated a few since the pandemic. They are not very pliable, but the price is right. I undo the adhesive and cut it open (using paper shears only, of course), tape the tissue pattern piece to the now flattened bag and go from there. If I need to make a copy of the pattern piece I do the same. I think this is a bit renegade. Probably not something advised in fashion school.
I LOVE your channel! I'm binging your videos lol
Oh wow that means so much I really appreciate it thank you

Thanks very much for all tips that was excellent ❤️😘👍
Oh wow! I’m glad they were useful to you.
How did you learn to sketch ?
I always practiced by looking at the sketches in sewing books or those on sewing pattern packaging

Hi Kathrine 👋🏽I use brown wrapper paper that comes in a roll. But for TH-cam videos, I use white spot and cross paper which is slightly more pricey. 🙈
Yes I do. I just can’t get it in bulk. It’s stronger.
@@catdcambs there are other websites that sell spot and cross paper in big rolls
@@JulietUzor_ okay. Thanks Juliet, I will look around.

I make patterns based on drawings and pictures in Clo3d. :)
Hey Jasmine, Is this a website or a software?
@@JulietUzor_ It's a software that simulates fabric and sewing on an avatar.
Ooh sounds cool
