I've seen some folks calling her a national treasure. Certainly, she is that for Mexico. But seriously, at this point, she is an international treasure.

A lovely soul like Pau’s has no boundaries, so as a Mexican, I also agree.
If you are not moved or at least bit teary you got to check if you're still alive. This performance is iconic, she is phenomenal.
How hard it must be to perform a song that you wrote at a vulnerable and personal time in your life in front of 8000 people. Love for her audience and the love they give back is a moment to cherish. This will be remembered by all TWA present and future for a long time.

Well, she had all of us in the Pepsi Center that night in tears. One of the most emotional and memorable live music experiences I have ever been a part of. Hard for me to watch this one again.
I am of the opinion that this is by far the single most emotionally powerful moment in the history of performing arts!

Hey RC! From what I know, she wrote this about the death of someone close. She vowed never to do it live because it is so personal to her. But, at this show there were 8000 of their biggest fans from all over the world. They sung it with her to give here the support. One of the most beautiful and moving performances I have ever seen. Pau is just a special angel.
Sorry, she has never said what the song is specifically about. Dany, however, did have a friend of hers pass away a few years ago, so that's probably where the confusion comes from.
That performance was about as perfect in its rawness and imperfections as it gets! That’s what makes an epic and memorable performance! Pau is a special talent and inhabits a song. Viva The Warning.
The thing that makes this so great is that her emotions and tears are authentic, just like the love and support from the audience. Her feelings were so strong that she must have felt them through her whole whole body, and her ability as a musician let her use her hands to express it through the piano. I cannot thank her enough for her willingness to be so vulnerable and perform this song on video

You are correct, it was an outstanding, vulnerable, raw performance. Incredible that Pau was not well and yet that gave her voice a uniqueness in the moment. Bless this beautiful young lady...she is my hero...still sick yet pours her heart and sole into this performance...my heart breaks for her, tears abound. Think she has a sigh of relief after this to finally get all of this out before her loving fans....wish you had turned on subtitles...what she says is very emotional.

If you watch the English subtitles from the beginning, she tells the crowd she had said she'd never perform this song live, and explains she is sick and her voice isn't all there because of it.

Yes , I was there , right in the middle of the Pepsi Center , and me and everybody in that place can feel the Pau’s emotion when she was playing and singing. Then suddenly, everyone starts to makes chorus at the end of the song. Great moment.

I have always said I don't want to play favorites with a band like the Warning, but I have to admit, I've long felt that Pau is their secret weapon. Artistically, she is simply on another level.
Dany's voice is more dynamic with her highs, lows, bends, belts and growls, but Pau...Pau can rip your heart out and leave you begging for more.
Amazing the most emotional moment I've seen in a show kudos to the crowd who out of love finished the song for her it was stunning. Considering this came right after Black Holes makes it even more special. Thanks RC great reaction.

this Pepsi Center performance was the 3rd of the three 10th Anniversary concerts... they played the same performance in Guadalajara (Oct 21, 2023, Teatro Diana - 2500+), Monterrey (Oct 25, 2023, Pabellon M - 4500+), and Mexico City (Oct 28, 2023, Pepsi Center - 8000+)... all three performances had the same set list (with a notable difference or two), same costumes, same stage design and light show (or as close as possible for the venue)... they premiered both, *S!ck* and *Hell You Call A Dream* , in Guadalajara... they had the 10-piece string sections with them at all three... the lighting was done by the same guy that does Halestorm's lighting... he had some free time that matched DPA/TW's schedule so they made things happen... somewhere is a BTS showing them working on the lighting programming and controls at the office before doing it all actually setup... very cool stuff...
i saw all three performances via live fan cam streams and they were ... i mean, "WOW!" doesn't even begin to describe it... i remember the surprise when the string section appeared out of nowhere for *Black Holes* and *Enter Sandman* ... and the double surprise with *S!ck* and *HYCAD* was indescribable... Pau playing *Breathe* right after *Black Holes* here in Mexico City was a monstrous surprise to everyone watching... there were a lot more than 8000 pairs of eyes overflowing from that portion of the set... i fully enjoyed seeing them and only miss not actually being there... i can't wait for their Atlanta show to get here!

Of course, it would have been wise to turn on the subtitles earlier when Pau spoke. Or then start again from the beginning.
Allegedly one of Pau's friends had drowned and she wrote this song. It ended up on the record Error on the condition that she never has to sing it live. 23 they celebrated their 10th band anniversary and this concert here was the first time and probably the last time that she sang it live. Not because she had to or was persuaded, but because she wanted to. For the fans and maybe also for herself.
Pau has said that the song is personal, I have never heard her state why. Do you have a video or interview where she has gone into further detail?

Play this again for yourself enabling the CC/Spanish to English. She says some relevant things before she starts to sing.

What you may not have understood was that she wrote this song planning to NEVER sing it live (too painful). Also all 3 sister were pretty sick during this concert but powered through and you saw just how amazing she was, AND the crowd had her back. We all love Pau, and her sisters!
