Nice video I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some made millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides part of my savings to invest for future. I think scenario one and two will see markets continue to fall another 5-10%. In scenario 3 a bigger fall will be a buying opportunity. I would pick up good shares at PE below 18.

The comparison would have made more sense if 2004 elections were considered here,as we are in similar situation now.
BJP was already in power back then and it was expected to retain power as potrayed by media ,but Congress came back to power.
This time the situation looks no different due to anti-incumbency 🥴

Absolutely wrong analysis
UPA wins or BJP wins market will not go up more than 5%, has market already factored in the news completely, market didnt ask for BJP to win, or Congress to win
Only thing the market & of course the economy need in clear majority of around 300+ votes from any parties (272 to form the Govt as majority)
Any failure to satisfy the majority winning by neither of the parties, that is when we can definitely see 25% to 30% correction in Nifty & Sensex
Just imagine, ur portfolio guys if Nifty itself falls over 25% in few days, I'm sure no long term investor will see their 1 year gain wipping out in just 1 or 2 days, not coz of any fundamental change in the stocks they r holding, but after all coz of political uncertainty!
Hence, it's the best time to lighten up our portfolio by atleast 75-80%
If u think, u can continue to hold for another year or so, then face the consequences sooner or later!

Agree with you in respect of scenario 1 where bjp comes into power.
Scenario 2: INDIA comes to power will see the worst where the nifty will go down to 17000 and will see lot of fluctuations at least for next 2 years.
Scenario 3. Hung Parliament : initially nifty will fall 5 to 10% and as the NDA forms a government it will slowly recover.
But many people are worried about the reality of modijis remark on Adani - Ambani, funding Congress in trucks.
Is there any conflict between Modiji and Adaniji?

BJP is not going anywhere beyond 220-230 and this is the ground reality.
They will need a good alliance to form government. The markets will slowly figure this out with results date nearing and its time to sit tight on cash. Irrespective of the results, just try to do lumpsums in 3-4 instances between the last phase date and result date, the time when exit polls would be out.
